“Crass” escape.

Everybody was bubble gum flying

Those critters was fast as lightning

In fact, it was a little bit frightening

But they flew with expert timing

There were snakes and birds, and turtles and pigs

They were floating them up, they were floating them down

It’s a modern Heathcliff art and everybody knew their part

From a chewing of the gum and a blowing bubble with tongue

Everybody was bubble gum flying

Those critters was fast as lightning

In fact, it was a little bit frightening

But they flew with expert timing

There was gum store guy and a mad pet store guy

He said, “you gave my pets gum and then let em run”

The pets flew all amok, with Heathcliff and his flock

A sudden motion made em skip, but now they fly a brand new trip

Everybody was bubble gum flying

He had enough trouble from stopping the snake from escaping.

Enough of this bubble gum business.. It’s boring!

Okay, I’m confused. Does this town have more than one gum store, has the one gum store always been next to the pet store, or is Gallagher forgetful?
