Thanks to President Obama, Qaddafy is gone from power. And it didn’t take any US ground troops. I am in awe of President Obama’s superior leadership abilities. Really a sight to behold, even for the doubters and naysayers.
This was NATO, not just us. Obama merely gave them some initial support for a few days, and a bunch of equipment they didn’t have, and of course we joined an alliance. It should also be noted that the “imperfect”, but at least somewhat lasting stability in Bosnia, and our (actually ill-conceived) actions in Afghanistan got NATO support. Our allies in Europe may be more supportive of the United States than some of our own “loyal opposition” at home that heap scorn upon them.
