Can someone tell me what exactly unions do nowadays?
.
It can’t be work conditions. That’s regulated by law.It can’t be discrimination or bias. That’s regulated by law.It can’t be unpaid work or OT. That’s regulated by law.It can’t be unfair termination. That’s regulated by law.It can’t be underage workers. That’s regulated by law.
.
As best I can tell, the sole purpose of unions is to drive the salaries of their workers so high that employers have no choice but to ship the jobs elsewhere…

Thanks for the reminder that it’s not JUST oil companies and Wall Street bankers that are getting tons of moola from the government. . .

Liberal thinking 101.

The 700 million that GM executives overpaid themselves in 2009 is bad.
.
But the 15 BILLION that GM overpaid union workers in 2009 is good.

The UAW must be slipping if it only received a $5K bonus for causing a $15Gig loss.

Your logical description of GM, reminds me of an old girlfriend, who was ‘cheap, but still not worth it’.

@Masochist567
Its not a matter of judgement, its a matter of fact. That’s twice I repeat myself. Are you incoherent by any chance?

Fact-One can be proven, the other is subjective.
