It isn’t a matter of “eating the rich”, but rather them feeding off the rest! Who serves in the military, and who profits from “defense” spending. Who has to buy gas to get to work or the grocery store, and who fixes the prices of gasoline? It isn’t even a matter of trying to “bleed them dry”, but a national “blood drive” asking them to contribute for a change.
Obama at least admitted, even with his $400 K annual salary as President, he’s a “one percenter”. As to fennec’s comment on regulations, we need better, and do need to get rid of some, but that “milk spill” may ACTUALLY have been concerns about those ponds with hundreds of THOUSANDS of gallons of cow “poo” and urine around every major dairy, or alternately, pig farm.
Which, the House “Natural Resources Committee” is really working to scuttle ALL regulation, and law, to conserve or preserve ANY natural resources under “Doc” Hastings’ “leadership”. The bills they’re kicking out aren’t just disgusting, they’re VERY dangerous for our future. Their attacks on ANY sensible regulations are equally, “what’s good for General Bullmoose”, and the public be damned. I’ve never seen it worse, and it’s PAST TIME to empty the halls of Congress of these right-wing morons. (and I DO differentiate between them, and the very FEW “sensible” Republicans still in the House or Senate.)
“If Warren Buffett’s secretary works as hard as Warren Buffett, himself, why doesn’t she get equal pay? Does Barack H. Obama know about this?” — Never confuse EFFORT with ACCOMPLISHMENT.

Warren Buffet wants Obama to raise his taxes. What’s wrong with that?

He can pay more, but it’ll just be returned to him via tax rebates. That’s the beauty of paying a 17% tax bracket for “unearned income”.
