With the completely absurd law forcing employers to include health insurance to all full-time positions, Barry has created even more part-time, low paying jobs.
This is one of the great myths of the 21st century: that companies hire and fire people based on government policy. While it’s true that many businesses will treat their employees as pawns, and will gladly allow the government to subsidize their healthcare and food (e.g. Wal-Mart), they will always hire people if they need them to make money.
Anyone who does otherwise should get out of business and take up cartooning.
Here’s a fact for you: when Papa John’s was creating all that stir about what was going to happen to keep the price of pizza from rising 17 cents apiece, Papa John and Peyton Manning were all over the airwaves talking about giving pizza away. I submit it costs Papa John’s more money to give away food than to cover any health care costs.
Just like the welfare recipients who get food stamps and Medicaid benefits while driving their new cars with fancy stereos and expensive wheels: Papa John can create his own artificial crisis.
Once again, and again, Obamacare haters: What would YOU do to improve health care in this country? Going back to a system that is destined to fail is not an option. Let’s try to go forward: what is your idea? Or is it just sufficient to hate Obamacare?
“Of course they are, because you said so. How about some facts to back up your allegation? Oops, I forgot – libs don’t need facts.”You ignored the point. Whether or not Papa Johns currently limits its employees hours to avoid paying benefits, other companies have been doing it for decades.“So something happened to your convenience store career that you didn’t like and now that its about to increase dramatically, you don’t mind it. Hmm”Career? You think filling in a couple of hours on the weekend as a favor to a family friend is a career? How sad for you. You miss or ignore the same point as Ionizer.

Or maybe the Republicans shut down family planning centers and we’ve just got too many rabbits.

To anyone who thinks that buisness owners should be altruistic, feel free to do what they do for the pay you think they should get.

no mr pawn i like a health care system where as on of its starters dr don [death panel ] berwick said you get treatment on who you are
looking at another pizza co finances [dpz] i find they make 0.60 per pizza so they should be fine with an additional expense of 0.17 to 0.34
