    Excellent question. The answer starts with not electing paranoid ammosexual morons and NRA puppets.

    @Edward White

    You might follow the trajectories shown here: http://www.gocomics.com/darrin-bell

    My guess is you’ve never been in an actual firefight.

    The NRA pays politicians to keep assault weapons on the market. Yeah the person shooting is a nut, but 103 shot in 15 minutes is a little much. Your solution is wonderful, 100’s of people in a dark club who’ve been drinking pulling out guns. Nice scenario.

    I doubt only the bad guys would die. You have a room full of morons with guns blasting away at the bad guy. I am absolutely certain there would be significant collateral damage caused by your would be John Waynes.

    Lets put things in a proper perspective. How about the Bushes who created this big mess and the huge loss of blood and treasure.

    Good idea. All the drunks have guns. Not only would there be a lot of collateral damage, as Ted Lind said, but when the cops arrive and everybody has a gun I’ll give you three guesses who is the next ones getting shot, and the first two guesses don’t count.

    “NO NRA member is responsible for the shootings. "The NRA opposes any kind of national “no buy” list for guns. The NRA glorifies, even fetishizes the types of weapons used in the massacre.

    “Ricochet” written by the guy who headed NRA before La PIerre took the position, tells just how the NRA went off the rails and became a nut group instead of an actual advocate for sportsmen and hunters.

    I like his drawing but this guy is really lame with the actual “news” part of editorial cartooning. The Orlando shooter didn’t “infiltrate” anything DoDo he was BORN HERE just like the Charleston shooter, and the Aurora shooter, and the Giffords shooter, and the……Get the point Henry? Go ahead and READ a newspaper once and a while.

    Totally unvetted? Do you have ANY idea of how immigration works? You’re either not very well-informed or you’re purposely seeking justification for your bigotry.

    Just keep ignoring that there were 135 mass-shootings in the U.S. y-t-d ( with 14 in Florida alone ). { Statistics complied by the FBI )

    So, keep thinking that guns are not a problem in American society….
