Ah, the good ol’ days of DVRs. Now with streaming services you can binge watch whatever you want when you want and don’t have to worry about wasting memory…

I’ve had movies that I recorded 3 years ago on my DVR, every once in a while do house cleaning and delete the old stuff I never will watch

As far as I’m concerned, the books have already won. I ceded the remote to my wife. I don’t even care to turn the danged thing on.
