What is that supposed to mean? Some nut was cutting the Amish men’s beards off, something that in their culture is a BIG humiliation. The Amish are peaceful people and should not be harmed. Does Danziger think he is funny here? He seems to be belittleing the Amish.

They’re freeloaders, profiting from everything the US provides all around them. If they were an independent country they wouldn’t survive.

Don’t think for a moment the Amish will not use “medical benefits” for themselves. Seen many Red/White/Blue cards @ clinics.

I’m with Hurst5809 on this. Strikes me as a cheap-shot cartoon, pointing only at the “amusement” value of something that’s very serious to the persons involved.

The Amish are entitled fair game for Lefty a$$baggers like Danziger. Any identifiable class of spiritually oriented Americans (who aren’t Muslim) can and will be denigrated by the Democrat Media Industrial Complex, of which Danziger is a classic example.

Seems Jeff is pointing out, in an Ed-cartoonist’s way, that in spite of the cultural differences, there exist some behavioral similarities….
