It would be fine if they only sank themselves, unfortunately we are all in the boat that they are trying to sink.

The GOPQ has done this before and we’ve been able to salvage and get it sea worthy again. Unfortunately there are only so many times you can do this before it’s a shipwreck that cannot be brought back into service; especially when crewed by incompetents and saboteurs.

Refusing to help bail is bad enough but making a hole in the boat means not realizing you’re all in it together.

With shutdown looming, U.S. Senate offers short-term budget fix

The US Senate drafted a last-ditch short-term budget proposal Tuesday as time was running out for Congress to avoid a partial government shutdown, though the odds of it passing the House remained slim. With just days left before the September 30 deadline, both Democratic Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer and Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell endorsed the draft, which would keep the government open until November 17.

The dem Senate will keep the country going since Kevin’s House of Southern Fried Insurrection is incapable of governing.

FCC Chair confirms plan to reinstate net neutrality rules eviscerated under Trump

Open internet advocates across the United States celebrated on Tuesday as Federal Communications Commission Chair Jessica Rosenworcel announced her highly anticipated proposal to reestablish FCC oversight of broadband and restore net neutrality rules. “We thank the FCC for moving swiftly to begin the process of reinstating net neutrality regulations,” said ACLU senior policy counsel Jenna Leventoff. “The internet is our nation’s primary marketplace of ideas—and it’s critical that access to that marketplace is not controlled by the profit-seeking whims of powerful telecommunications giants.”

Still digging out from under the trash of the last traitor Trump administration.

The lemmings (small rodents) are following Majorie Taylor Greene right down the tubes while thumbing their noses at McCarthy in the process. Meanwhile the rest of that tribe cower off in a corner, fearful of upsetting Trump or his loyal Magats. Voters, stand in front of the mirror and take a long hard look at where the responsibility lies to fix this mess.

Since 2015, the republican party has openly admitted that their aim was to “destroy the administrative state” which, in a nutshell, means destroying America.

What’s so hard to understand about that?

“Idiots” who vote “republican” want to live in a police state where the “right” way to live is the ONLY way to live and the only “rule” is the rule decided by their dear leader, who, at the moment is one Donald John Trump though that will change from time to time…

Hopefully they will (figuratively, of course) drown as a consequence. Only problem is how to prevent them from taking the rest of us with them? The rightfully expected consequence to them would be political. For the rest of us it’s a lot of things involving crashing markets and the dollar, another serious hit on the county’s reputation (the election of djt was a Very major hit, that may never be lived down and this would just add to it), not to mention disrupted services, federal employees who give up and go into the private sector for better pay And security, and financial hardship for everyone who is employed in any capacity (except maybe congress) by the government. Throw in everyone who has earned the right to collect back from Social Security, Veteran’s benefits etc. and you have a significant portion of the population, enough to add to the economic “hit”. It’s not a pretty picture. And all basically caused by grand-standing by a bunch of ignorant fools acting like toddlers.
