That which does not kill me, makes me stronger. I see this as a painful step to a better future. It’s a shame it did happen, but let’s hope it did not happen in vain.
If Mr. Brown was trying to defend himself then he was really stupid. .Dude vs. Gun + trained police officer = rigor mortis..If I remember correctly the officer was responding to another call when the robbery call came in and he was in the area..While I firmly believe the ticket and fines situation in Ferguson was strictly about the money. Bleeding the residents for revenue, not a uniformed KKK convention as you trying to portray.
You forgot that the pair was walking down the middle of the street. That is what started the confrontation. The officer was RIGHT to tell them to get on the sidewalk. Neither boy complied, which was THEIR choice. Thus, their fault. They simply had to get out of the street and onto the sidewalk. We need to teach our children to obey the laws, especially traffic ones. For example, that goes TRIPLE for the kids who think that they can text and drive. In a few seconds…they’re dead, and it was their own fault for thinking the law doesn’t apply to them.

All this because some criminal DID NOT put his hands up and instead attacked an officer.

That was only the spark—the tinder was already in place; and the local government certainly acted as though they were covering up a crime.
