    We still allow bigots to call the shots, its just a different set of bigots with different biases.

    Actually, it’s more true to say that it wasn’t so long ago that everyone agreed that people should DO THEIR JOBS! And if you can’t do it, then get another job.

    Render unto Caesar, the things that are Caesar’s. Render unto God, the things that are God’s.

    This comes from the highest Christian authority, but still some people don’t get the concept of separation of church and state.

    They wrote Article VI into the Constitution precisely because the founding fathers did NOT agree with Mrs. Davis, and didn’t trust her ilk.

    And Article V says that law is made through Amendments passed by Congress, not by unelected judges on the Supreme Court.

    The “religious test” of Article VI does not prevent an official from practicing their faith; it prevents a person’s religion from excluding a person from office.
