You don’t know any liberals, or ever read what they think, do you. You believe in the right-wing bogeyman of the liberal that doesn’t exist, but which is so much easier to hate and demonize than the real, rational liberals that actually exist in the world.

Again:

Why would anyone with half a braincell Vote for someone who is running on the platform that the Job he’s Running for is Impossible to perform?.

The first persons Hitler locked up were the trade-unionists (socialists), he was fervently anti-Communist, and of course also raised Roman Catholic.

We have been led by Repbulicans since Reagan toward, in fact into, a Fascist/Feudal society under the control of Corporations and wealthy individuals, that famous “1%”. That they devote so much more cash to propaganda to hold their position, than in taxes or other efforts to actually benefit the society at large, is truly sad. That wars are one of their primary tools, is even sadder.(Grenada, Nicaragua through Iran/Contra, Panama, Iraq (twice), and Afghanistan, to mention only the most obvious covert ones.)

The relationship between Hitler and Musolini, and the Military Industrial Complex in Germany, and Italy, was pretty much exactly what Eisenhower was warning us against. Afghanistan and Iraq were supposed to be our version of Ethiopia (Musolini), but they had more than spears to take care of both Russia, and the United States.

I’ve read several of Reich’s books (not “Saving Capitalism” yet) over the years, haven’t read Kuttner, will check it out.

Given the choice between a dishonest socialist and a racist fascist, I’ll take the dishonest socialist.
