I don’t allow cell phones during exams and lately have been seeing more phones than students when I collect them.

Maybe he majored in telephone technology and is off to his first $100,000 job.

How awful that these do-nothing slackers utilize technology. I see a lot of millennial complaints falling into the “that’s not how we used to do it” territory. Seems like the same thing every generation has had to deal with.

progress is replacing trig tables with a small, light, hand held electronic device…

My physics prof allowed us to use hand calculators that only did addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication; all that was available at the time, and that Bomar cost $120!! Couple years later, they were about $3 if not being given away.

On the phone thing, in town today in ONE block had three ladies jaywalk across in front of me from the bank, all three texting, none of the three looked up before stepping into the street, or noting a car was coming! Pedestrian polo should give fewer points anymore, and there shouldn’t be any penalty for drivers unless you accelerate to hit ’em.

Getting a job? Isn’t there an app for that?
