Doctor* Donald’s snake oil. No longer made from real snakes. Now a high-quality cocktail mix of Clorox and Lysol, blended with Kool-Aid.

Works especially well for celebrating communion in densely-packed Branch Covidian church services.

The new cure for the Klandemic.

    *M.D. degree from Trump University.

If the virus-in-chief’s comments weren’t so deadly they could be from the script of a truly weird comedy series.

Buttercup’s medical advisors are now forced to sit at the side of the press room and supposedly out of camera range, because their facial reactions to his idiocy are too difficult to stifle. Even Pence, if you watch him carefully, will show an eye movement and a slight twitch of his shoulders at some points. His tells show him not to be the stone face he once presented.

The US has fallen to the point where the president is the laughing stock of the planet. It will take decades to regain the respect and pride we once enjoyed. Tragic.

I’m having a 60s party tonight. You all are invited. I will fill up a hookah with hand sanitizer. We can take deep puffs from it. I will hang some groovy UV lights that we will sit under. There will be hamberders for food, tide pods for dessert. Bleach and covfefe for drink. The daring folks can snort comet cleaner if they want. And lastly, I’m hoping it will be crowded affair with no distancing. So who is coming?

So he is calling it “sarcasm”.. Too bad we can’t tell which.. of all his remarks.. are “sarcastic” or lies. It comes down to which team you are on.. The Fox News team thinks every utterance pure gold while the rest of us know it’s pure BS

Drink the Cool Aide. This is serious folks. Trump’s followers are not rational people. They are a cult. They believe his every word even when they know he is lying because he tells them what they want to hear and gives them answers, wrong that they may be, when others can’t.

They’re will be some of his worshipers out there who will inhale cyanide-laced cleaning products or inject themselves with poison because the Beloved Leader told them to do it.

If you read the words carefully, Donald only directed that the medical community that they should consider this a valid treatment with the implied threat of “You’re Fired” if you don’t tell me what I want to hear. Trump has a solid track record of removing those people who tell him the truth.

Now the man who ALWAYS says what he means and means what he says, says he didn’t mean what he said when he said it: He was being sarcastic. I believe this 100% because Trump has NEVER lied and has ALWAYS been right. I will disregard the filmed evidence to the contrary as fake news.

Have you noticed that the Republicans have stopped comparing Trump to Obama in the handling of medical crisis?

Back when Trump’s “numbers” looked good: he was ahead in the score of dead bodies when compared to Obama; the GOP was quick to point this out. Now that Trump is losing the “body count” game badly, not a word is spoken.

He finds the hot spots by who follows his prescriptions. Tells people to use Hydroxychloroquine or drink Listerine or wash with toilet bowl cleaners or overexpose to UV light and see who jumps for it. Tells his Trumpbots to redirect re-election funds to that area of the country because that’s where people are gullible enough to believe anything he says.

Only trouble I see with that is, even Buttercup doesn’t have enough money to cover all of them

Note for political cartoonists: Russian propagandist and hacker mills are going after political cartoonists now by blocking sites and denial of service attacks.

Cloudflare has announced that it is working to prevent these problems. It might be a good thing for GoComics to look into.

We are not employed by Cloudflare and have no economic interest in them. This is just a news piece we ran into today that might help GoComics, its political cartoonists, and those of us who appreciate their work.

Since my mailed GoComics collection arrived without any picture content today, forcing me to use the website I found the notice an interesting coincidence, since those attacks could have exactly this result.

It is quite likely that China covered up the danger when there was an outbreak there. So, did Trump when it hit our country. At least, they didn’t call it a hoax.

The United States used to have a team of doctors, scientists, etc. standing by listening to the news for any hint of a possible outbreak. The Obama administration set it up after an Ebola scare in Africa. They were dispatched to hot spots several times and prevented diseases from ever reaching the US, by isolating and treating them at their source. That team was disbanded by Trump in his first budget about a year after he took office.

The U.S. government’s slow and inadequate response to the new coronavirus underscores the need for organized, accountable leadership to prepare for and respond to pandemic threats. In a health security crisis, speed is essential. When this new coronavirus emerged, there was no clear White House-led structure to oversee our response, and we lost valuable time. Yes, we have capable and committed global and national disease-prevention and management organizations, as well as state and local health departments, all working overtime now. But even in prepared cities like Seattle, health systems are struggling to test patients and keep pace with growing caseloads. The specter of rapid community transmission and exponential growth is real and daunting. It’s impossible to assess the full impact of the 2018 decision to disband the White House office responsible for this work. Biological experts do remain in the White House and in our government. But it is clear that eliminating the office has contributed to the federal government’s sluggish domestic response.
