Too late, they’re closing down again as even completed productions are being pushed back another year or two. Fortunately my reading and media libraries are massive. For those who borrow from me I quarantine every book returned for two weeks and sterilize every DVD/CD before they go back into rotation. My daughter thought my collecting was crazy but now she and my neighbors love it.
I was never a theater goer anyway. Maybe I just use my time differently. By the time evening or the weekend rolls around, I have much better things to do.
I get the blue ray, plop it in at a day and time of my choosing, don’t have to drive and park the car, lay on the couch in my sweats with a glass of wine at my side and don’t even miss anything when I go to the bathroom.
The last movie I saw was when I visited my son. My wife, daughter-in-law and three granddaughters went off to watch some “chick flick” while we saw “The Hobbit” (the first movie).
I have “The Force Awakens” on blue ray. It’s still in its shrink wrap.
I do poorly on movie, actors and actresses, Oscars and other such categories in Jeopardy!
Before the death of Sen. McCain I purchased the movie “Game Change” that showed how Gov. Palin was the worst mistake made at the time for a Vice President candidate. Later after his death I wondered how horrible it would have been had they won the election and he had died in office making Caribou Barbie the President. I realize now things can always be worse. Could have never imagined the pathetic unqualified POS we have now, the G.O.P. and 40% that still support him.

I’d feel okay in the theater with none but my pod there withe me. But I cannot even begin to rent the whole room…

Rent a Blu-ray; it’s cheaper, and you can make your own popcorn!

When it started costing $40 for two, I decided home theater was better.

I never was much of a movie-goer. The last time I was in a theater was for “London Has Fallen”. Or maybe it was “Batman Versus Superman”.

Again capitalists try to convince customers that they are obligated to spend their money to the capitalists’ benefits despite other consequences…
