Actually, he planted the lies, and now they are being used to chop him down to size. He’s drawn small because he is – in so many ways.

In many ways, Mr. Santos is the logical outcome of the modern Republican Party where lies supersede truth and opinion supersedes fact. It is not that Republicans endorse such conduct; it is not that they say “yes” to such shenanigans, but that they do not say “no.”
