At last count I heard there were 33 mass shootings in the United States THIS YEAR. Of course we’re a WHOLE 24 days into it. The 33 figure is a couple of days old so we may have another dozen or so more innocent people gunned down since then.

Why is it that only a small fraction of these make national news?

I guess it’s because enough Americans consider this the new normal and will go on voting for politicians who get their funding from the NRA. What’s a few or a thousand deaths when these politicians are protecting them from Blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, Gays, me-too women, communists and every other bogy man a politician can conjure up.

Do politicians even bother with sending out “Our thoughts and prayers” standard form, fill-in-the-blanks, letters anymore, or have they run out of them?

3 shootings in less than two days…

All because GOP can’t give up the NRA bribe money…

Once again, I can’t like this one. Latest report shows 38 mass shootings this year so far. Only those that showed 4 or more deaths were counted. No telling how many other shootings but I believe not being counted made little difference to victims and their families.

Prayers for the fallen, the wounded, those who love them, and the emt’s and caretakers.

The NRA and gun cowards have taken over this nation. The blood of every gun murder is on their hands and soul. This nation has degenerated to the point where we have a mass shooting every week.

It’s high time we put the gun cowards in there place. Make it a crime to own any gun other than a shot gun or .22 hunting rifle. If they have a gun other than these they can be considered accessories to murder and go to jail for at least 30 years with no chance of parole. That might scare them enuff to turn in their guns. After all, the only reason they own guns is to protect themselves against the boogeyman or the monster in the closet. And when the gun cowards whine about

And if we foolishly let the cowards and the NRA have their way we tax the hell out of the ammo so they can’t afford it (the only exception would be ammo for shotguns and .22 hunting rifles).

And we all should spit in the faces of every gun coward. They are underserving of being treated with any respect or sympathy.

guns are well-regulated here in japan. you can go out in public and the thought that you might be part of a mass gun murder probably won’t ever cross your mind. because in a sane country that never happens…

If we banned all guns altogether what would happen? You would have a huge black market in firearms. Who would buy them, I guess criminals. Heroin, crack, etc. are banned and can we stop it from coming in. No, not even close. Driving drunk is unlawful, how many people are killed each year by them? Ban cars, doubt it. If criminals could get guns they would find a way, Think you would be safe if they knew they were the only ones with guns?
