There are more than one fuse that can be lit in the world.

Mother Earth won’t miss us. And in ten thousand years you’ll have to dig really deep to find any trace of us.

Trump is lighting the fuse in the Middle East.

Not to worry.. trump knows how to fix that scuffle on the other side.. said so during his campaign and a zillion times since.. And with the Evangelist and thus God on his side.. Nothing to worry about.

Something makes me feel that Jim M. is a little down in the dumps.

Cheer up, Bunky. There isn’t much we can do to change things.

Looks like the Armageddon (and rapture to follow) that so many are looking for. We have representatives in the US government that actually want this!!

I dont like trump’s cheating, lieing, stealing and belittling good people. However I 110 % fully support killin the murderous and hateful soleimanic! My only regret is that I didn’t get to pull the trigger myself! You say I spelled his name wrong! I dont think so!

Learned yesterday (23 January 2020) from Clay Jones that Morin’s stepping away from the drawing board to paint and perhaps occasionally make a graphic comment.

I’ll certainly miss his cartoons. Pointed, unsparing, and humorously drawn. Here’s wishing him lots of joy and dough in his endeavors.

What happened to Jim Morin? It has been more then two months since a new cartoon!

No more new cartoons. Mr.Morin has retired. He has been an political cartoonist for almost 45 years, I think he has earned some rest!

It is DISTURBING how accurate this was, to the point we can tell less than three months in.

What a way to leave the game.

8/8/2020— Unknowingly prophetic.

I am sorry Mr. Morin hasn’t given us any more cartons since January 1. But this one cartoon is prescient, summing up the year far too well. How did you know?

That fuse needs to be right over the Arctic, check out how low the ice cover is on Climate Reanalyzer. Cross your fingers!

But, but I’m just sure that 2021 will be so, so much better. Wait, what? There seems to be a pattern unfolding?

Remember January 1, when all we had to worry about was Trump starting a war with Iran to distract from the impeachment? We were so cute.

I don’t think anyone knew just how prophetic this cartoon was when it was published in January.May 2021 be better.

Did Morin have any idea how prophetic he was? Since he hasn’t posted anything since then, I’m guessing he managed to hitch a ride off this planet with the dolphins.

Still relevant 13 months later. Saw a strip a couple of days ago where a guy came out of a coma after a year. He said the last thing he remembered was the Chiefs were in the Super Bowl, Trump was being impeached, and a virus had broken out. The nurse told him to go back to sleep. Wonder why the editors don’t remove inactive strips?

Just not real …. the world and people will be hear much longer than any of us will live.

GoComics has cut many a good comic this past year, and this one hasn’t been updated in over a year. I hope Mr. Morin isn’t still being paid by GoComics.

How long is this thing going to run?

I look at this every 5 – 6 months or so. Gary Markstein’s stuff is getting old too. Time for some major editing on what strips are posted in “Need to Go” Comics.

Remove the cable news media and we’d be fine. Usual mix of good life with crime, wars, civil unrest, etc. But we’d be fine and not feel the world is about to blow up. Relax, folks. Really.

Morin retired in January 2020.

Why is this still here since Mr. Morin hasn’t put anything in for a year and a half?!?

I just took the Go Comics survey. There were no questions about what irritates you about Go Comics, or any questions about what I think about leaving strips online that have ceased in existence. This has been gone for years. Take it down. And Signe, and the rest who have retired.

How long is this comic going to keep running?? It’s been well over a year! If Jim doesn’t want to draw anymore, he should let another artist step in!

This is now 3 years old. Drawn prior to the pandemic and Ukraine … where are we now?
