Republicans need a kick in the head to bring them back to sanity. Democrats must continue to return to their roots, instead of acting like Republicans from the 1960’s.

The hat cracks me up. Normally somebody who considers himself hoity-toity as Trump does wouldn’t be caught in a baseball cap. But clearly he started wearing it so that the wind wouldn’t blow his ridiculous hairdo up and expose its underpinnings.

The traditional, respectful, trustworthy, party died when they catered to and coddled the Dixiecrats/segregationists/supremacists who had changed party en masse after LBJ signed the Civil Rights into law.

Will they ever return to civility … or will they continue to hatefully destroy democracy/equality under the callous rule of authoritarian tyrants?

Mark Burnett, immigrant, whose shows you would not like to do without, approached Putin about a reality show focused on Russian oligarchs. Putin guided his focus to orange Cronus & The Apprentice was born, selling Armedericans the silk purse of a sow’s ear crap “mogul businessman”. watch the Disney fantasia of buckets & brooms to see the growing army of “enemies within”. Khrushchev said “we will bury you” but Putin had a cheaper idea.

“Lara Trump doubled down on her support for her father-in-law, former President Trump, vowing Tuesday to spend “every single penny” of Republican National Committee (RNC) funds to reelect him to the White House.” (The Hill, 2/14/24)

Pretty much all that needs to be said.

Good caricature, John Deering. I saw the same real face sans hat in a Nikki Haley ad. The man is a walking caricature.

The Republican Party began in the 1854 as the Liberal party in the U.S. Lincoln, a Liberal, was their first elected president. Republican Teddy Roosevelt was a Liberal. Democrat Woodrow Wilson was a Southerner, conservative racist. Coolidge and Hoover were Republican conservatives. conservatives called Eisenhower a “socialist”, some even called him a “communist”. The Republican Party had a Liberal wing well into the 1960s, and last led by Thomas Dewey and Nelson Rockefeller. It was Nixon’s ‘Southern Strategy’ in 1968 that began the full conversion of conservatives in the South to the GOP. Imagine the South supporting the ‘Party of Lincoln’. Since the Koch brothers’ Tea Party emergence, conservatives have pushed even most of the moderates out of the party. Now tRump takes them to the next step of conservatism, fascism.

$88,000,000 + $355,000,000 + interest. Wow, I’m glad I’m not an egotistical rich a$$hole that thought running for president was a good idea. And it’s not over. March 25 the Stormy Daniels thing goes to trial. Jack Smith is waiting for SCOTUS to make up their minds about the blanket immunity thing so the Jan 6 election obstruction thing can get back underway. The documents trial doesn’t look like it will go forth this year so he’ll have to lose the election in order for us to watch him go to jail for stealing classified documents. I still have some joy in my heart though, seeing him crying and whining about corrupt judges and witch hunts.

At a 2020 campaign rally in North Carolina, President Donald Trump told attendees they’ll never see or hear from him again if he loses the election to Joe Biden. “If I lose to him, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I will never speak to you again,” Trump told supporters at a rally in North Carolina.

In a June interview, Trump refused to say whether he would accept the results of the 2020 election if he did not emerge the winner.

Trump made similar remarks in 2016 when he rivaled Hillary Clinton for the presidency: “I don’t think I’m going to lose, but if I do, I don’t think you’re ever going to see me again, folks,” Trump said. “I think I’ll go to Turnberry and play golf or something.”

Trump is a liar, liar, liar.
