So, DeSantis PAYS to send immigrants FAR AWAY FROM the force of an incoming hurricane, using his taxpayers’ dollars, while his taxpaying constituents are simply told to skedaddle?

A regular humanitarian . . .

Puerto Ricans are American citizens, so when hordes of them escaping Hurricane Fiona’s devastation descend on Florida (the state nearest to them), DeSantis can’t use his go-to talking point about furriners. I suppose he can still probably find some code phrases to get across the idea that they’re brown people, tho.

Don’t forget they were legitimate Venezuelan asylum seekers, not illegal immigrants, who DeSantis had flown from Texas (!) to Martha’s Vineyard…

Yeah, a real dick move. I hope DeSantis gets sued.

Now that he spent all of Florida’s tax money “owning the Libs” he wants OUR tax money to pay for hurricane damage.

I chose not to “Like” this strip, because they aren’t protesting immigration policy, they’re just doing cheap political grandstanding.

Logically, if immigrants were to be exported within the US, I would think the low population density other red states that are compensated in representation by the electoral college. But it’s all about making cheap political points, assuming others will be as (Richardish) as them.
