Wow! Already in the morning Cybil is into the ‘nip and her ever-present gin! She probably isn’t sure whether Lio is coming or going. But that’s okay, since she has a calm day of leisure and heavy indulgence in prospect….

I’m 48, been out of school for close to 30 years, and yet I still get that shiver of happiness every september that I don’t have to go back…

I just retired as a school counselor after 36 years in public education. Swap the Cat Nip Crunch for potato chips and the gin for scotch and that cat could be me!! I am so happy I am not going back to school this year.

I believe he just missed the bus again….

I always talk loud on the phone by the bus stop about what I am going to do that day; see a movie, play video games, or go to the mall; just to annoy the kids waiting for the bus.

When Lio comes home after school, he’s going to find nothing but blackened timbers.

Cybil will be inviting Andy Capp and Hagar the Horrible and Soppy Sopwell over while Lio toils away in school……..

Dakota could learn a lesson from Cybil.
