I donât think this is specifically addressed to women, but it certainly seems like it (you should have been more careful Tatulli). I wonder if itâs a call to New York having just one bathroom for both genders.
I guess I took it differently, based on the stadiums Iâve been to where menâs and womenâs restrooms are fairly far apart. I just assumed it meant that there are regular folks (in this case, men) and then there are jerks (but if the same gender). Having said that, I think itâs way too open for all sorts of undesired interpretations.
Iâm sure Tatulli meant to imply WOMENâs was around the corner and both of these signs apply to MENâs room. The dilemma for Lio is: ââŠwhich is he?â
First of all, this IS a very nice comic here. Remember, people who go looking for offense are sure to find it.
Second: these are obviously both originally meant to be menâs rooms. See how the doors both open the same way? If the side-by-side rooms were meant to be separate for men and women they would be mirror image.
Third, itâs the funny papers. Donât take everything so seriously.
And last, but not least, thank you for spelling âwhoaâ correctly.
I took this as a criticism against âmenâ, rather than women. There are men, and then there are jerks who think theyâre men but act like rude children.

Fenway Park, except there would be a âWâ and an âOâ in front of men

How about one is an in door and the other is an out door. Men go in the in door. Jerks go in the out door.

Would this be a right or left handed jerk?

IMHO the comic would have been better if the two doors were labeled âwomenâ and âjerksâ.

Perhaps three doors?

Yâall are so wrong here. The jerks room is reserved for certain politicians who reside here in the Great North State.

Heck, Iâll use the Jerks room if the lines are shorter.

I, too, am confused.

See, the problem is that not all men are jerks (although a lot of them are trying their best!)

Perhaps the cartoonist recently visited a building that dates back to the era of segregated rest rooms.

? Is writer saying women are jerks? Or is it a commentary on bathrooms and gender identity?
I donât mind some ambiguity, but this is a little much.
