If you don’t understand the cartoon, just admit it. Someone who does can explain it to you. No need to shoot the messenger.

Consider The Ukraine, The Afghanistan of the 21st Century. Putin is not going to talk his way out of this mess.

In a future world, I’m sure that the Ukrainians will remember their debt of gratitude to us and gladly repay the $16.5 billion we just spent on securing their freedom. And worth every penny, of course. Nothing is worth more than freedom.

Both Xi and Modi have admonished Putin about the Ukraine adventure. It’s pretty bad when your allies tell you you’re off on the wrong course.

The precedent was set for invading another sovereign nation when we invaded Iraq in "03 when W Bush was president. I wonder if L B understands this.

Russians stealing Ukrainian children is not news. What is new, however, is just how brazen they are about it, putting the information on a website (since taken down, as that would be admitting to a war crime), but still offering cash awards for Russian families willing to adopt a stolen Ukrainian child. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) cited a now-deleted Russian government post showing that Russia is bringing Ukrainian children to the country and paying Russian families to adopt them. An archived version of the Russian federal subject (region) Krasnodar Krai’s Family and Childhood Administration posted details for a program under which Russian authorities transferred over 1,000 children from Mariupol to Tyumen, Irkutsk, Kemerovo and Altay Krai. The one-time payment offered by the state is significantly higher when adopting a disabled child, a child over 7 years old, or adopting brothers or sisters simultaneously, at 156,428.66 rubles ($2,614.77). Gee. Separating children from their parents and shipping them out sounds like something the Magas would do as a matter of “immigration policy”, doesn’t it? After all, cruelty is one of their “platforms” they embrace as a final immigration solution..

Why would you wonder about who Lisa is or was cheering for? She isn’t cheering war, and it is clear she isn’t cheering Putin or the Russian invasion of Ukraine… What she is doing is making clear points based on the reality on the ground and making them clear enough that most people can see the events or situation more clearly.

Putin’s crazy, Zelynskyy’s corrupt, they both suck.

I’d like to see both of ’em lose.
