Jeez, comments here that proves the left has no sense of humor. I watched that interview and it was obvious that President Trump was joking but also making a point by exaggeration. Bottom line is that under Article II of the Constitution and the power given to the Executive Branch, the president is the ultimate authority in classifying or declassifying information.

I want trump to have a long life, having lost everything that has sustained his loathsome existence for the last 70 years.

The Qanon idjits probably believe he uses his Jedi mind tricks, tapping into the Maga Force of the Dark Side. Why the (expletive) do so many people follow him to his Maga/Nazi rallies and practically worship that crazy whacko? Do they really hate most of America that much, or are they so stupid as to believe the ridiculous propaganda pumped out by right-wing sources (and some of their cartoonists)?

Kevin Brock, former FBI Assistant Intelligence Director, discusses the bombshell dropped last night by Special Prosecutor John Durham says Igor Danchenko, the primary source for the discredited Steele dossier, was paid by FBI as confidential human source for three years despite prior concerns he was tied to Russian intelligence services. Brock says that the revelation last night, seems to point to that the FBI had "outcome bias, where investigators get so enamored with an investigative theory and belief that they stop hearing what their sources are telling or they only hear that which they want to hear.” But also that the Bureau seemed to have "a sense of urgency to run with it and believe what they wanted to believe.” Commenting that still, “we’re left with a big question, why in the world did they feel like they had to sign up, Igor Danchenko as confidential human source of the FBI and then pay him?”

It cracks me up when the Magas seem to actually think you can get something from nothing, and are slapped down by a judge. “You say the FBI planted evidence? You have a week to prove it. You say your client declassified the documents? Show me the receipts!”

Unfortunately, the Magas are passing laws in the states they control so they can overturn elections that they don’t like the results. declaring “voter fraud” without the hassle of proving it (they are codifying “Something From Nothing”). Kinda like Putin having an Anschluss “vote” in occupied Ukraine.

As with all the cases against him, they are for headlines to influence dim voters

@KurtSchlichter:Let’s get real – if they thought they had Trump they would have filed a criminal case, but they have to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt. A civil suit is a preponderance of the evidence. They had no criminal case. They chose civil “fraud” to impress dumb people.

5/ So, the initial motion to dismiss will not be heard before the midterm – the real mission was accomplished by filing suit in time to influence the election, but not so early that this garbage case could be tossed out before the election.

6/ I expect the case will be dropped or tossed after a couple motion to dismiss rounds. Maybe there will be a small, piddling settlement the AG will claim is a victory. It’s not a real lawsuit. It’s lawfare. And I hope red AGs are taking note of the new rules.

TheFBI will never take this to court. The SCOTUS has already ruled on the President’s unlimited power regarding classified material under the Navy vs Egan case. This is no more than a political dog and pony show by the deep state. Worse, it’s the use of the government’s law enforcement agencies by a sitting President for political purposes.
