Lisa, with her prodigious knowledge of economics hasn’t heard about the management making bets on long term bonds with depositors’ money.

I’m beginning to think that Lisa and her right-wing ilk don’t actually believe in anything — whether it’s right, left or MOR. They merely take positions which are contrary to any and all reasonable, rational, logical stands on any issue or problem. Since these right-wing “espousers” have no reasonable, rational, logical positions on any issue, that leaves Lisa and her ilk no choice except to attack and denigrate everything else.

You know, I don’t mind opinions different than my own. I just find them tedious when expressed in a juvenile, playground kind of way.

Lisa and her fellow Alt-Reich cartoonists are such good little puppets. “Wokeness”, diversity, etc., had nothing to do with the bank failures but they’ve been told to parrot that line until a new trope is derived.

“Woke” can have a downside. The stock in the Fortune-300 company I retired from seven years ago (20,000+ employees in a dozen countries) was right at $100 a share. They had a Diversity Initiative (3-person department) and a Sustainability Initiative (6 person department). In its 130-year history the company had never had a strike in any of its manufacturing plants, voluntary turnover was less than 5%, and the average employee had more than 10 years of service. So they must have been doing something right.Since I retired, a new, Woke, CEO decided to grow those two areas into departments with Vice Presidents, Directors, managers, and support staff. While sales have remained steady, profits shrank (partly, I’m sure, due to increased overhead which contributed noting to production of the end product) and stock has plummeted to $50 a share. And employee turnover is near 20%.Coincidence? Perhaps. But I don’t think so.

Deregulations cause banks to fail—not “woke” which seems to mean anything the Reublicans don’t like. It’s just a glob of a word with no meaning.

Is that how ATMs work in the States?

I’ll bet Lisa can’t define “woke”. Smoke and mirrors to frighten the ignorant and gullible!

Joseph Harding,author of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” Bill,was convicted of stealing COVID-19 relief funds earmarked for small businesses affected by the pandemic.

He faces 20 to 35 years in prison for wire fraud and money laundering.

What does “woke” even mean? To me, it’s just a manufactured Republican scary word. People using it appear stupid.

But no mention of the anti-woke bank GloriFi that collapsed after three months last year? Republican megadonor Peter Thiel was a backer. Interestingly he was also one of the SVB account holders that started the run.

The Common Core Curriculum State Standards became the mechanism by which the Federal Government took control of public education. The Obama administration required states to adopt Common Core State Standards, implemented by the Department of Education. The 50 state Education Departments were informed that it would be much easier to receive federal aide to state education, if the states adopted the Common Core Curriculum for their public schools.

The newly adopted Common Core Curriculum erased much of the US History once taught in public schools for over 200 years. That required the revision of the accurate US History textbooks once used in public schools. The revision of US History textbooks was funded by front groups, controlled by George Soros. The new US History textbooks disparaged the remarkable history of the Republic, portrayed Socialism as beneficial of the masses, while stating The Free Enterprise System was unfair; yet The Free Enterprise System has been the most successful economic engine in the history of mankind.

The new US History textbooks eliminated events, misrepresented facts, inserted new individuals who were unimportant, defamed the Founding Fathers, criticized the US Constitution, falsely reported the massive genocide of Native Americans, covered up the fact that the US fought wars to free millions of enslaved people, and invented an inaccurate and wholly negative impression of the Republic, as being cruel, racist, oppressive, violent, and discriminatory. US History textbooks now enumerate the contributions of Sikhs, LGBTs, Filipinos, Japanese, Chinese, Mexicans, black Americans, Hindus, and many other group—it’s a modern Socialist handbook. – Joseph R. The Common Core Curriculum’s re-educated America’s youth, by not only misrepresenting the US History of the Republic, but by misrepresenting the character of Socialism. American students have never been informed that Socialism has failed miserably in 37 countries over the last 100 years, and that it was responsible for the murder of 60 million formerly free citizens in most of those 37 countries. Students are not taught that the current example of a Socialist government is Venezuela and Cuba.

The Common Core Curriculum eliminated Civics Courses previously taught in public schools for hundreds of years. The concepts of Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, and The Right to Bear Arms are regularly attacked and restricted on the grounds of college campuses, in college lectures halls, and in college classrooms.

Today multiple generations of students are not taught the importance of, nor do they understand the Declaration of Independence, US Constitution, Amendments to the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, how the three branches of government interrelate, why the Electoral College is so important, the Judicial System (the Supreme Court, the 13 Appellant Courts, 94 Federal District Courts, 3 Territorial Courts, etc.).

Civics in public schools has been replaced by Ethnic Studies. Now grammar, middle, and high schools across the nation are provided with classroom instruction in Ethnics Studies that has been destroying the positive culture of America’s society. Students are being taught that race, class, gender, sexuality, and citizenship status are tools of oppression, power, and white privilege. Students are being misled about state violence, racism, male toxicity, intergenerational trauma, heteropatriarchy, and that there is a common thread that link them.

Lisa, “woke”, much like ‘politically correct’, is simply showing consideration for your fellow American. conservatives try to demonize those terms. Do you oppose showing consideration, or just oppose Americans?

Degrading the US History of the Republic, while promoting Socialism to America’s students since 2008, resulted in 51 % of American’s youth preferring Socialism to Democracy. Now 72% of voters between 18 and 34 prefer receiving basic government income (Hill-HarrisX poll), and millions of millennials have demonstrated their support for Bernie Sanders’, Elizabeth Warren’s, and the Democrat Socialist Party’s Radical Socialist policies.

A quote from the late Czech college professor and Communist Party lawmaker, Milan Hübl, Ph.D. explains what the four Communist groups have been working to accomplish, since they created their Inside/Outside Project, in order to gain control and support of many generations of naïve students.

So frightened. Almost hysterical. Their lord and master could be indicted, tried, found guilty, and sentenced. What would the magas do? Hide under the rocks from which they emerged? One can only hope.

I laugh woke/wouk/wohk no matter how you spell it simply means “Being aware of and ready to most likely experience racial prejudice and discrimination” so the bank was aware and is experiencing racial prejudice? What a dweeb, who in their right mind would associate those two, asinine at best!

Had not heard of ESG investing until recently, but I had instructed my investment guy to follow that kind of thinking.

Wokeism: its strategy is to postulates that no such condition, or alienation, exists. It does so by asserting that a human essence can be accessed through each person’s unique individuality. The trouble is that it sets no standard or structure for what an individual should be. This is why all adherents of this ideology eventual melt into obese, amorphous blobs.

This appeals to modern people because of their addiction to comfort and ease. Coupled with emergent technologies, wokeism becomes able to say: ‘you can be anything you imagine, simply by imagining it!’ For a pornified, netflixified populace, this sounds, literally, like Heaven.

The effect of couplings and these claims is to undo natural boundaries: first social (ex. marriage, sex roles), then biological (trannyism), and finally physical (uploaded consciousness, metaverse). Wokeism’s claim: you cannot be alienated from the creator if the creator is YOU.

The truth is that seemingly insurmountable boundaries can be transcended, in real life, but only at the cost of great self-sacrifice. A spiritual truth that basically all religious traditions have arrived at: to find your true self you must destroy your current self.

Wokeism tells people that they can become their “true selves” at no cost, for free, gratis, by a new, perverted, technological grace. The tragedy is that the costs are all still the same, the essential laws of the universe will never not apply.
