Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in 3,500 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts during the previous three decades, an unprecedented number for a U.S. presidential candidate. Of the 3,500 suits, Trump or one of his companies were plaintiffs in 1,900; defendants in 1,450; and bankruptcy, third party, or other in 150.1 Trump was named in at least 169 suits in federal court.2 In the 1,300 cases where the record establishes the outcome, Trump settled 175 times, lost 38, won 450, and had another 137 cases end with some other outcome. In the other 500 cases, the cases were dismissed. Obviously the Dems have been out to get him for 50 years now.

Want some salt for that crow you’re eating today, Lisa?

The indictments are still sealed so it is not known if any of the charges carry jail time. Just in case, here’s some helpful info for Duh Furor from the state of New York: ‘The Department of Correction has begun to implement an institutional uniform plan, wherein all individuals in and entering custody will be provided with uniforms for the duration of their incarceration. None of the inmate’s personal clothing will be permitted in the facility – this includes sweatpants, non-uniform sweatshirts, athletic shorts, head gear, hats, or caps and compression-style attire. These items will be collected and stored upon admission with the inmate’s other clothing. Traditional undergarments may be retained by the inmate as long as they are a permissible item. In addition to the standard uniform provided, seasonal outerwear will be available upon request for use while outdoors. Inmates will be afforded the opportunity to have their uniforms laundered by the facility at least twice per calendar week and this information will be posted in the facilities. Clothing will be returned to inmates upon discharge from their respective facilities.’ No word on how his Secret Service staff, where they will be put, will they be allowed to carry firearms, etc.

The EXACT SAME ACT Hillary was fined for with the “Pee tapes” and fake steel dossier paid for through HER lawyer is what the Soros-backed DA is NOW trying to get Trump for. WEAPONAZATION for political purposes. Will NEVER make it through the US Supreme Court and shows how desperate the DEMS are. This MIGHT just clinch the election for Trump!

Ms Benson, next Tuesday around 2pm he will be charged. If you bothered to listen to any other channel than the channel of “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them”, you’d realize most Democrats consider that our country has had a president who was/is corrupt and put the country in this situation, is a sorry we’re in these circumstances. Many believe Ford should never have pardoned Nixon… would possibly have made trump think twice about his lies and fraud. I am one of the few liberals who is relieved and so darn thankful the rule of law has stood its ground.

Lisa — An editorial suggestion — Peelousy has put her foot in her mouth again and, incidentally, turned our legal system on its head. To wit, “Everybody has the right to a fair trial and the opportunity to PROVE their INNOCENCE”. Notice, if you will, that previous to that Eselkopf’s pronouncement, INNOCENCE was PRESUMED and GUILT had to be PROVEN beyond a reasonable doubt.. This Diktat from an experienced lawmaker!! From this point on, I’ll vote for a ham sandwich before voting for ANY DUMBOCRAT!

Anybody who doesn’t realize this is just a political witch hunt is a fool. While I don’t know if he is innocent or not, I know there are LOTS of other crimes out there that are being ignored, from Hillary’s e-mails, to Pedo Joe and his Ukrainian Quid Pro Quo. There’s the fast and furious, the Steel Dossier, and the list goes on and on and on.

I would love to see lots of people get indicted and prosecuted, and not just Democrats. When is Stormy going to prosecuted for blackmail? I mean, c’mon.

Are Democrats really this stupid? Wait until the shoe is on the other foot. . . this will be lots of fun.

Fool commenting above doesn’t believe that Repubs should be held accountable for actual crimes, but will be happy to charge Democrats with fabricated crimes.

Remember Hillary sat through 11 hours of attempted gotcha questions, because she knew she had committed no crimes, and proved it. Repubs that refused to honor subpoenas are wanting to enforce subpoenas for trumped up allegations towards Democrats. No one would have ever pitched this movie, because it’s so unbelievable. And yet, here we are.

cbge2 is confused. It’s Orange Traitor’s family, and perhaps Mitch McConnell that benefited from China, and the other is just plain old fake trumped up accusations. Something, I’m sure Putin will fabricate some “proof” should he win his terrorist invasion of Ukraine.

I see the lefties are again in spin crazy, melt down mode. President Trump has departed for NYC. I wonder if Bragg’s thug enforcers are going to be stupid enough to try and handcuff and perp walk him into the court house. I know the Marxist left Democrats would love to see this. Not going to happen. That would take state and city cops while President Trump is surrounded by Federal Secret Service agents. This hateful political indictment has already massively backfired against Democrats and the Soros backed Bragg. Since the leaked indictment hit the air President Trumps popularity in the polls has increased by 10% and his campaign coffers have grown by $5 million. Hope it will be televised so we can see how Trump’s lawyers will respond. Two things for sure, they will ask for the charges to be dismissed and if not they’re move for a change of venue.

The naked persecution of Donald Trump: American democracy is no stranger to thuggery

The legal system, though constituted under the rubric of Justice, can only be an agglomeration of human beings. That is, the foolish, the misguided, the self-interested, the careerist and the idealist — the same admixture found in you and me.

Hamlet lists one of the screaming tragedies of life as “the law’s delay”. All of the affronted have anguished that “surely there must be a better way”. And there may, but if it has been previously discovered, that knowledge is lost to us.

“Why is this night different from all other nights?” Answer: the indictment of President Trump demolishes the line between prosecutorial sharp-practices and naked persecution. The fig leaf of judicial probity is, granted, often transparent. But its glib removal yesterday announces an advance past that last firewall against thuggery: shame.- David Mamet

Trump is the big problem, umm yeah, sure, why not?:

Fla. Grand Jury Charges Biden Admin. w/ Trafficking, Abusing Migrant Children

‘If any resident of Florida exposed U.S.-born children to this process, they would be justifiably arrested for child neglect or worse…’A grand jury in the state of Florida officially accused the Biden administration of assisting in trafficking child refugees into the state.

Following a five-month investigation ordered by Gov. Ron DeSantis, the panel’s report condemned the entire Biden administration, but particularly the departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services.

According to the Daily Wire, the report alleged that HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement was neglecting and abusing migrant children while operating under the pretense of trying to resettle them illegally in the country.

“In reality, ORR is facilitating the forced migration, sale, and abuse of foreign children, and some of our fellow Florida residents are (in some cases unwittingly) funding and incentivizing it for primarily economic reasons,” the report stated. “If any resident of Florida exposed U.S.-born children to this process, they would be justifiably arrested for child neglect or worse.” – Molly Bruns
