Les is right. Nobody would have opened Stef’s box and then taken the class ring and not stolen anything else of real value. It’s clear she misplaced the ring and is falsely accusing others. You can tell Les wasn’t an honest a guy, in his past, though. lol

Now Greg and Karen are just playing with us! Les does seem to knw the value of a lot of stuff that was stored. How does he know what was in the antique jewelry box? What is a student doing with an antique jewelry box in the 1st place?

Now Tiff looks doubtful about Les now that he mentioned those expensive items. Did he open the boxes? Some of the items he mentioned are small which would be packed inside boxes….Except for the 98 inch TV.

I believe Les knows what happened to the ring, though.

Open your eyes people!!! Les was hitting on Stef and getting nowhere; THEN he snatched Stef’s box away from OX, NOW her ring is missing!!! Petty act of revenge? OR, maybe Les will “help” Stef find her ring and be the hero ?

Les could always find work as an appraiser. ✨

Les did not steal the class ring it is worth is not great in value.

Holy jumping turtle wax! I heard of OLED TV’s but not QLED. Thought it was a typo, googled it, it is a thing, and a 98” QLED is worth about $20k.

For someone who did not lift or move much, Les sure seems to have a pretty good handle on the inventory of what all was stored there.

So if Pru was around – Les could buy her another necklace…

Why would Stef store something so important to her as a ring? Just wear it, or stick it in her purse. They must have security for personal valuables at a dance camp.

This was a guffaw affecting panel set today. Les joyfully appraising the value of some seemingly pretty expensive stuff i waremanse. Enough so that Tiffany’s nervous realization that this ability of a master thief’s (criminals, especially thief’s/burglars are opportunistic) was not followed through by Les, showing he really is reforming, is funny. Done very ironically to boot.

Interesting to see that Les knows enough about comics to understand which ones are rare. Maybe that’s why he decided to invite himself into Bets and Gunther’s group of cosplay fans? Maybe his desire to be a part of it might make more sense than we thought. He noticed what was precious, but nothing more. Plus, he’s absolutely right about how absurd Stef’s accuses are and it’s great to see how he tries to reassure Tiffany.

Just a guess but Kip took the ring back.

Stef is going to find the ring and promptly forget her accusations and tell no one.

Stef put the ring in a Crackerjack box, got hungry and ate the box ring and all.

Les didn’t lift a finger to help Ox move, but he certainly took “inventory” of what went into the “Waremanse.”

Nice going, “Leslie.” Keep talking and casting suspicion on yourself. That’s why smart “folks” let their lawyers do the talking.

OTOH, It DOES Kinda makes one wonder if anything else went “missing” besides Stef’s ring.

When others were occupied with moving boxes… And Les was sitting around due to his “back problem”… That could have afforded an opportunity for him to open some boxes and check out their contents… I’m not saying he has stolen anything… Yet… but as the old saying goes, “Once a thief, always a thief”…

Nobody with any brains would store anything valuable in a house with minimal security when there are plenty of actual secure storage places available.

I think Les is drooling over the valuables stored at the Waremanse.

But at least it took us away from talk about Ann Eiffel (and her possible return).

Les just opened himself up for greater suspicion.

I still think they broke up and Stef is covering it up. I wish we would move to a more interesting arc.

When I was first married, we had to take out a loan to buy a used push mower. I still remember how indignant I was that someone came on to my property and stole something that we had to work so hard to pay for.

Les is right! What kind of idiot would steal a stupid class ring, when there are tons of things actually worth stealing?

Les, The Red Herring! :-) I don’t think Les is the culprit, I don’t trust Stef and I don’t trust the “Waremanse Business Partner”, helping to point fingers. Two more days, maybe, to iron this out … ??

Old habits die hard.

After wearing this theme out for a month, they’ll have her “find” it.

Who are these people? If they can afford that stuff they should have a better place to store it than Tiff’s house. And if they’re Moony students and kept that stuff in their dorm rooms, yet they can’t keep it at their parents’ houses for the summer… come on!

Funny one today! So Les thinks like a thief, still doesn’t mean he stole anything lately.

There is nothing wrong with knowing the value of things and appreciating them. Les and Ox were handling lots of items during that warehouse fiasco, and what – were they supposed to not notice which things were nice and what was junk? That’s just not realistic at all. Tiffany was dead wrong on this one – accusing Les and not even speaking to Ox – she’s acting like the stupid little overprivileged brat that she is! I would take Les and Punk over any of these yoyos any day! The next time she needs help I hope Les tells her where to put it.

I can’t believe Tiff is so dense, she believes someone actually “stole” Stupid Steffi’s ring.

Yes, I know——-as many other people have pointed out (myself included) G&K “modify” their characters’ intelligence to fit whatever storyline they’ve come up with, but still!

This will all be over when Tiff, after a lot of worry, and possibly frantic searching of the garage and rental truck, returns to the dorm, tells Stefi she’s doing everything she can to recover the ring, only to have Stef say: “Oh, shoog! Didn’t I tell you? I found the ring! It was in a different box all along! Silly me, I forgot which box I put it in!”

And that will be the not even mildly amusing end to this arc.

Mmmmm….yyyeah. A burglar is going to walk out with a 98 inch TV.

Les is probably practicing to be on The Price is Right. That is why he knows the value of different items.

Just one observation: If Steff just LOOOOVES “Kippie” so much, why wasn’t she WEARING the ring during her time at the dance/cheer/whatever camp???? I doubt it would have gotten in her way that much. Inquiring minds want to know.

Just wondering, did Les graduate from High School and, if not, could he be looking to have a class ring? Just a thought.

I still think that talking to Ox would be a good option. Let’s think about something for a second that ISN’T about the ring. Why in heaven does Stiff Stef have a humongous TV like that!! Has she been taping herself and Kip “doing the do”? Imagine what would happen if those tapes got out, all over the campus and all Social Networks? Boy oh boy – her parents would be so…..ahem…..proud? And why an ANTIQUE jewelry box? That’s not her style! And comic books? Who knew she could read? Has STEF been stealing, maybe?

In her lazy search for Kip’s ring, Stef discovered that another girl had one just like it…….then another girl and another ring. Seems that Mr. Hot-to-trot had found himself a foreign outlet that made cheap knock-offs of jewelry and the sly ol’ Kipper bought a half dozen rings for his special girls. On the football field that is known as a quarterback sneak.

uhhhh…… are other students going to complain that some of their things are missing? is this where we are going?

Maybe Kip snuck it out somehow and gave it to a different girl since Steffi was gone.
