The point is that now Tiff and the others will learn how the ring was found. The arc continues—until everyone forgives Stef.

Kip only asked her in the first place because he wants it back.

Betcha Stef never apologizes to her roomies for all the accusations she threw at them – and harming the relationship between Les and Tiff.

Kerfuffle continues, and hopefully Stef will be the accused this time. Or better yet, Tiff blows up and exposes Stef for the you know what she is.

Will Steffi come clean about finding the ring to Tiff? Or, will she “sweep it under the rug” and act like nothing ever happened? Will Kippy blow it for Steffi?

Kip doesn’t really seem happy, maybe right now he’s really wondering why he’s with Stef. But probably he will never be able to break up with her. Now, if Stef didn’t tell Tiffany anything about her being sorry for accusing her, but she will start teasing her because she lost her sunglasses it would be perfect in her being even more unbearable than ever.

I wonder what prompted Stef to lift up the rug in the first place: it seems all to convenient. But then again…much of serialized fiction tends to be based on convenience and coincidence anyway.

5 more days left. I know this arc is far from over!

How appropriate. This whole Ring story is about as exciting and as well written as Amazon’s one!

Now they need to have a serious talk about kicking Stef out.

Stef must be pretty awesome between the sheets. They’ve probobly never been between sheets, but you get my drift.

Weird how someone that uses such innocent language can be so gosh dern stinkin’ mean.I always imagine her voice to be breathy and high- pitched too.

Giving Stef lipstick makes her look like she has clown lips.

If they break up, then it could be Kip who is out of the strip. Steffi still has a spot in the dorm poised for more drama. Must be a home game or bye week for Kip.

1) steff took even less good care of it than she thought.2) she’s going to be clueless about the need to apologize to all the people she accused. the issue is how will kip, who seems ok as a person, respond to this.

Much as I hate Shannon I’m putting Stef on top of my list of characters I’d like to see dropped. There have been a few cute Shannon strips.

What I wonder where this arc is going, the hilarious(?) endpoint. I haven’t a fix yet, but it will be fun watching. Those who are tired of the arc (gag a day people) this actually just one cobblestone in the streetscape that is Luannverse. Take a chill pill!

so tired of hearing about this. every day I keep hoping the dialog and characters are going to change and improve. This used to be a neat comic strip.

So she cared about the ring so much that she packed it away for the summer. Under the rug.

End of Kerfuffle, I think not, Stef. At least not until you apologize to TIf, and, everyone accused of taking Kip’s ring. Now, Tiff’s missing (presumably designer) sunglasses…

Getting boring

This all seems really contrived to me. Under a rug – seriously? Stephanie probably found the ring earlier and planted it to be “found” while she was with Kip. I would be willing to bet she also stole Tiffany’s sunglasses just to be spiteful. Kip needs to realize he has a child-like girlfriend, full of make believe stories and insecurity issues. Maybe he’ll instruct her to give the glasses back and apologize to everyone. This story has gotten so incredibly tiresome. I was hoping it was over, but it looks like it’s just going to keep fizzling out.

Even if Kip doesn’t take action now, he won’t forget this incident. He’ll remember it every time he notices the ring on her hand.

I haven’t read all the comments, so someone else may have already said this. Could Les have put the ring under the rug in hopes of causing conflict between Kip and Stef? Was that why he “shushed” Ox?

Ever get the feeling that the only reason Kip doesn’t break up with her is he knows she’s a psycho, and would make his life impossible?

Tiff you never had your sunglasses on all week long. So since Stef finally found Kip class ring you are now looking for attention.

And the hunt goes on.

there’s a big difference between the way Steffie and Tiff approach these matters, but are G&K just going to just sweep it all under the rug and file it away under the category of dorm life? are we now going to have tit-for-tat and Steffie’s way of treating people is no longer front and center because now Tiff now can’t find something?

Looks like Kip isn’t all too happy about how careless Steff was with his ring, and I think Tiff might have something to say to her as well.

Of course no apology from Stef, after accusing everybody of theft.

I had really hoped that this arc had ended on Saturday. But with such a lame beginning of this week, they must be coming up with something really good to end it.

Stef is really a totally exasperating ditz, but if she’s a good lay (as I’m gathering Kip is, too), then that’s enough for both of them for a while.

So we had a week of a stolen ring that wasn’t stolen, please tell me we aren’t going to have a week of missing sunglasses.

Kip’s getting angry. When Stef stepped on the ring under the rug (Saturday’s strip), his hand was a fist. Today his eyebrows are rising more than ever in panel 1. He’s amazed and disbelieving in panel 2, when Stef shows no remorse for losing his (“My”!) ring and just sticks it back on her greedy finger with neither remorse nor apology after Saturday’s obvious lies about how much it means to her and how hard she looked for it. In panel 3, as Stef cavalierly dismisses all her previous threats, accusations and drama, that look on his face doesn’t bode well.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it now and I’ll probably have to say it again in the future. WHEN IS THIS STRIP GOING TO BE WHO IT IS NAMED FOR – LUANNE??!!!!

Kippy looks unimpressed.

Perhaps Tiff’s remark is just meant for a little comic relief like the time when Tiff said to Bets (as she was threatening Steffie) “you do love $… just sayin”. That comment didn’t really change the direction of the arc or the events. It was just this little side show that didn’t have any effect. Hopefully tomorrow Kip will continue to be annoyed with Steffie and the sunglasses will be forgotten.

Will be reading the comments here later, but wanted to follow up on my actions re the troll yesterday. I heard back from GoComics. They said the “flagging” method was most effective. They also said that we should contact the moderators directly at moderator@gocomics.com. I’ll give that a try later.

Anyone holding their breath as to how long it will take Ditzy….er….Stef to apologize for trying to shake everyone down for her “kerfuffle?”

Stef stole Tiff’s sunglasses as revenge. Now that the ring is found, she’ll “help” Tiff look for the glasses and miraculously “find” them. Kip needs to dump Stef, and the roomies need to kick her out of their dorm room. That she is even there after the whole privacy tent nonsense is not credible.

I called it…said that she misplaced the ring.

That shows just how well she Doesn’t clean her room.

Too many story arcs like this lately, that drag on too long and are ultimately pointless.
