I had a custom T-shirt made once. They put anything up to 9 letters for a fixed price, then you had to pay more for each letter after that, so I limited myself to 9 letter – PBPGNFWMY. Everybody called it my “alphabet T-shirt”.
I get why she ran into her ex boyfriend and saw that he completely turned his life around, became happily married, and had a beautiful baby girl and got jealous.
A friend of mine’s son and future daughter in law had shirts like that. His said “If Found, Return To Holly.” Hers said “I’m Holly.” They were just too cute for words.
TJ was always supportive of Brad when he started trying to court Toni, but he always thought it was weird that she was interested in him. I’m curious to see what they’ll write on Toni’s shirt. It would be a big surprise if she decided to use this method to announce her pregnancy.
While most everyone was amazed at Brad and Toni’s marriage, that gag has gone completely stale. Now, if Toni were to ask for one that said something like "future Bradoni baking here, " those same people who would turn up their collective noses at TJ’s gags would absolutely love what is on Toni’s possible shirt.
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I really dislike the idea that someone is “dating out of their league.” It’s one thing when it’s someone referring to themselves in a self-deprecating humorous way, but quite another to say about someone else. When you do it you’re essentially saying that an unattractive person does not deserve an attractive partner no matter what good qualities they have (because let’s face it, the “league” only ever seems to refer to looks.) It’s looks-based segregation, i.e. “ugly people belong with their own kind, and this guy is breaking the rules by dating a pretty girl.” It’s insulting to both of them, and rather dehumanizing to the more attractive partner, as they are now reduced to nothing more than a shiny trophy that the ugly person doesn’t deserve.
seems like a puzzled Brad is trying to play along with whatever game TJ is onto. He should just return the gift and say thank-you but this is not really my style.
A couple was walking towards me: her t-shirt had “MERRY” – his t-shirt had “CHRISTMAS” …. made me smile and say Merry Christmas to both of them. t-shirts are so much fun!! Hope Brad’s are clever & fun.
Oh boy, a whole week of comics about novelty t-shirts. Only way this could pay off is if it ends with Toni surprising Brad with a Bun in the Oven shirt or something.
You know TJ has his haters too, can’t stand Brad’s BFF, just as haters can’t stand Bernice, Lu’s BFF. Jeez, friends can’t be sarcastic with each other? It might be perhaps those haters missed out on teasing or, heavens! Being a teen-ager, or young adult practically screams sarcasm, misplaced or not. It doesn’t mean discouragement, or some or some other evil motive, just friends razzing each other. Give the hate stuff a break, nah, you won’t.

I’d pass on the dumb T-Shirts, Brad.
Nobody wants that for a Christmas present. They want something nice that you put a little thought into.

Start selling t-shirts they told me. I did, and nobody will buy them. So much for supporting indie artists.

Isn’t what TJ’s friend doing illegal? Like printing phony ID’s?
9thCapricorn 3 months ago
OOO….bet you get away with this snark because you are TJ the jokester. They (the readers in here) would never do the same for Bernice’s snarks.

Just don’t wear a shirt that says, “I’m with Stupid,” when you’re by yourself, because you’ll be right.

Gee-Bus!
More cheap gifts.
Yeah, Yeah, I know it’s the “thought that counts,” but SHEESH!
What IS it with these DeGroot kids and “gifts” anyway??Come on Brad! You once spent $600 trying to impress Diane, a gal who barely knew you were alive, that you could ski! And you FAILED miserably!
You hit the jackpot with Toni! Get her something nice and Pricey.
Like a new DJI drone. Just don’t let her fly at night and above 400 feet.Do it before they are all Congressionally BANNED. ;-)

So TJ is doing what LuAnn did for years, make contant digs at Brad. She finally matured past that so what is TJ’s excuse?

For a guy who lives free gratis in Brad’s and Tony’s house, he sure is mouthy.
