Wait, why is this a Sunday strip?

Well this is different from the usual Sunday comics, so that’s something. Not interesting, but it is something.

They could use the old Bugs Bunny approach and hit her on the head with a sceptre while bestowing her a new title with each strike (“arise, duchess of vanity and heavy make-up”)

A few years back, the third panel would have shown the old Tiffany putting on lipstick, not chomping on a Cheeto.

Tiff and Bets should read today’s “For Better or For Worse” strip. They could have a good laugh over the fact that NOBODY with a “nice warm car” will rescue that b!tch—especially not Kip!!

Student body pride or Stephanie body pride?

Yes – Tiffany does get her share of zingers. My favorite: When Tiffany found out Luann’s “date” with Jack was at the dog park, she says to Luann, “Watch your step.”

Sunday strips are written by Greg, as well as illustrated by him. Usually the Sunday strips center around the DeGroot household (including Bernice) or Brad and Toni’s house. Can anyone remember a Sunday strip that had all extraneous characters?

Not untypical of girls and young women to go out dressed too light for the cold. I see it all the time. Mind you, in Canada, it is common to see some people in shorts in the wintertime. We’re tough.

Is there any college on earth where students wear cheer outfits except to games? Our cheerleaders used to do it in high school because 1) it let them break the dress code against short skirts 2) they didn’t have time to go home and change before games. But neither of those things apply in a college, plus no one on earth cares or even knows who the cheerleaders are in college.

Wait I thought Steph was upset with Tiff and she is in the same room as her?

“I just wanna crown her”…

The word “crown” has multiple meanings, including as slang to hit someone on the head…

Yet another parallel between Stef and high school Tiffany.

Stef will probably catch a cold, but she does it in the absolute belief that her sacrifice will improve everyone’s mood. How deluded! I wonder if Tiffany looks at her and thinks how silly she was when she used to do the same thing, or if she’s completely forgotten about that period.

When you try to hide the fact your so poor you only own one outfit, sometimes you go to extremes

When I was in high school in winter, I saw girls who wore parkas, miniskirts and stockings, standing around in the courtyard during a fire drill complaining about being cold. The sacrifices some of us make for fashion, I guess….

Ah yes, I remember those good old college days, when young women wore cheerleading outfits every single day. Has Greg ever even driven BY a college campus???

An interesting story line for Stef might be a pregnancy scare. She and her guy are obviously “doing it” (it is college after all…). Stef is terrified because she’s “late”. I remember lots of these happening in my college years. Could be a very sensitive way to explaore those issues.

Love how the ‘M’ and the ‘U’ make an open mouth on her sweater!

She’s definitely an example of body pride, but I’m not sure it has anything to do with being a student.

Seriously Bets? Tell me you don’t believe any of that.

Makes me wonder how many of those outfits she has. Aren’t they expensive and require dry cleaning?

Yay, more strips featuring Stef, the character all the other girls despise yet continue to pay to live with for some reason!

My beloved Tiffany is VERY generous with her desire to coronate.

It also makes her “goosebumps” bump.

Maybe the other dorm residents willing to share a room are even more annoying. Stef might be the best of the bunch.

Stef may look “amazing” in her cheer uniform. But she’ll pay for not dressing warm, sooner, or, later. And, will the other members of the quad have any sympathy for her? Well, maybe Roz will, but mainly so she can try out her Homeopathic “cures.”

Well, she’s proud of her student body, at any rate. (I haven’t looked, how many other people have said this?)

Stef is the most self-centered person on this strip.
