I wonder how many voting sites there are on the Native American Nations? Like the Sioux, Navajo, Hopi, Cherokee, Seminole, Chippewa, Iroquois, Black Foot, Inuit, Nez Perce. And all the other First Nations as the Canadians say. I think I read that many have a hard time registering because their homes have no “street” address.

No fan of McConnell’s, and not an American myself, but obviously he didn’t mean African Americans aren’t Americans – it’s right there in the word. I read it as comparing the full set of Americans to the subset of African Americans. So why all the fuss? Could it be to distract attention from the point he’s actually making? Has anyone addressed that?

Yes we can vote in elections. However many elders who were born on the rez have no birth certificate due to being born at home. This too becomes problematic.
