Maybe Marm fell into a septic tank. I can relate to that. Happened while I was mowing a neighbor’s lawn as a kid. One minute I was cutting grass and the next moment my right leg went plummeting into the tank. Underneath the lawn, a rotting, wooden board instead of a cement cap covered the opening to it. Needless to say, that was one experience I’ll never forget.
