Matt Bors for March 10, 2015
Transcript:
Lifelong Hillary supporters don't think the thing she did was so bad. Sunday Takes Hillary Supporter: The media loves makin' a BIG STINK. But Republicans have done the thing too! Critics though, they don't think it was good at all! Critic: There's a PATTERN with her - of doing things I don't like! BAD Others? They have more nuanced views. Woman: It wasn't GREAT. But I don't care all that much. And the sexism: not OK. One thing's for sure: this is a cartoon about that. Matt Bors: Welp! That oughta be good for 2-9 years. I'm going to live in the woods - bye!

After what the Republican congressmen have just done by writing to Iran, they still want to make a big case against Hillary about Emails?

Uh, it wasn’t Republicans crying wolf this time. Hillary isn’t even currently a public figure. It was the New York Times that ran with this story. Help us if the NYT is now a “right-wing mouthpiece.”

The Clintons make it easy to dislike them. Secretive, paranoid, clannish, slippery. Of course, the country did a whole lot better under Bill Clinton than the republicans will ever admit. He was kind of a pathetic figure, but his presidency was OK. His wife annoys me with her militarism and her “Clintonesque” behavior. Other than being a democrat, it’s a bit hard to understand why the right has demonized her. Oh, that’s right, they demonize without cause. At least with the critique of GW Bush, there’s an incredibly long list of highly substantive failures. Iraq, Afghanistan, dumb fiscal policy, failure to kill bin Ladin, and many other similar issues that can be critiqued on MERIT instead of on personality. I agree with Matt Bors, though, the Clintons and their circus of supporters and detractors are incredibly tiresome. I wish the dems would have a real primary with another few choices besides Hillary.

BTW, Bors, that last panel is absolutely hilarious. Especially because it’s almost certainly true.

Actually it wasn’t okay when he did it either. Or to put it another way…Bush did it and look how he turned out. I tend to be in the third group here. My main concern would be was the e-mail account well secured. A Hotmail account doesn’t have the same security a Government mailbox might. But since I don’t know, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt until information is available. The fact she tried to go around scrutiny though doesn’t bode well. Sorry. I have no doubt she’ll be the next president. I just don’t think she’ll be a good one. Hopefully she’ll prove me wrong.

Well of course they can. But the cost of a secure e-mail server is much, much less than the cost of the overpriced attorneys the administration will have to hire in the subpeona situation. Since the taxpayers will end up footing the bill either way, I’d rather have the secure server. At least that way there will be something to show at the end of the day.
