Everyone is having an interesting time dealing with Juanita Broaddrick's rape accusation against Bill Clinton. Hillary Clinton: We need to support and believe WOMEN. Except this one! The Democratic Party faithful suddenly sound like little Rush Limbaughs... Woman: She didn't even go to the police. Zero eyewitnesses. Innocent until proven guilty! While Republicans have morphed into your local campus rape activist. Man: False accusations are low! As a white cis male, I trust women's experiences. Of course, this is all being brought up by Trump, whose ex-wife accused HIM of rape. Donald Trump: No way. I'm yuuuge into consent! Believe her? Don't check your party affiliation before answering.

He he. Sums things up quite nicely. Especially the last line. Good job Mr. Bors.

Right, my party affiliation has nothing to do with what is happening here. I think if the country wants to convict Bill Cosby in the Press, the Press has the same rights and obligations to follow through with the same vigor if it involves a politician. Of EITHER Party.

Blame it on women’s education. One reason the birth rate is down in advanced nations is that educated women don’t stand for such nonsense. Put them both in a cell with Cosby.

Everyone who smugly felt Clinton was trapped by a gotcha this time – felt differently by the last panel. And vice-versa. I like the characterization of Democrats now sounding like Rushs and Republicans sounding like feminists. Excellent toon. Those who come on to fight for their side are missing the whole point of the toon.

And now the party of no one is allowed to blame Bush will drag us all back to the 90s. Funny – Bill isn’t even running – but I bet we’ll get to hear all about him again. Looks like Trump’s wife made the claims in the late 90s as well.As long as we don’t talk about the 2000 – 2008 era, let the mudslinging begin.

Who?I like this, from The Nation: “ The most you can say about it, which is also the least you can say about it, is that her story is credible”.

The innocent-until-proven-guilty principle has returned home.
The idea that the party of civil liberties should be aligned with an automatic tendency to side with the accuser was absurd to begin with. It doesn’t take a Rush Limbaugh wannabe to value the only thing holding witch hunts back.
