The problem here is not Richard Bruce Cheney, tempting as it undoubtedly is to blame him, but Barack Husseing Obama, who for reasons of his own, has made this decision. It would be salubrious if those reasons were examined more closely….

Seeing that most of those folks were taken on the battlefield, military tribunals make the most sense. Could you argue that those taken on US soil should go though the criminal system? Maybe.

I think that those taken on US soil and those that were NOT taken on the battlefield go through the criminal justice system and those taken on the battlefield go through military tribunals.
If they’re innocent of the charges, then what should we do with them if no country wants them?
Why are we in such a sticky situation in the first place?
