If they want to cut the deficit, why not start by cutting their salary and benefits…No, that would be just another way to harm the rich in this country….
They’re rewriting the rule book for this Congress, which might give one pause to think about “hedge fund deregulation” and other fine points. So far the draft only shows marginal openings for graft and stupidity– then there’s Issa’s 150 letters to corporate interests while he’s on the “ethics” witch hunt.
They should be evicted for fraud & malfeasance. They obviously believe that fund-raising takes precedence & the actions required by governance are mere formalities. I wish the bunch of money-grubbers that my fellow voters keep electing would channel those skills toward paying off the debt.
HOWGOZIT, it’s not whining when we point out the truth about the GOP’s hypocysy. I know you don’t like to hear the truth and you never acknowledge when you’re wrong. Get over it. Creating new rules about “transparency” and then breaking those self-same rules the first day out of the gate is shear hypocrisy!

^ yup, hypocrisy abounds. Tea Party and GOP can’t maintain their promises for 24 hours.
back to toon: I see lots of transparency in the minds of GOP … there’s no there, there.

I posted elsewhere that I think the story is flawed.
^ That’s funny, too.

If Democrats violated the Constitution the way the TPers did, hate radio would light up with foaming idealogues for 2 years.
