Of the three people I know who were there either responding to or cleaning up after the attack all three have had stomach or bowel cancer. Two of them are dead. Maybe if Kentucky would put a tax on Meth they could help out…selfish Ba$tards

For every dollar Kentucky pays in fed taxes it gets over two dollars back from the feds. Kentucky is one of the top ten states that collect welfare.

Rand Paul single handedly blocked the 911 legislation.

Medicare for All would have taken care of the 911 responders.

President 45 sold the 45th floor of Trump Tower to Saudi Arabia so they could watch the 911 explosion that they are responsible for.

So when Trump says Arabs were cheering the 911 disaster he knows what he’s talking about because it was in his building.

McConnell is in deep with Russian oligarchs, the republicans are the party of oligarchs against the citizens of the USA.

If I said what I really think of Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell, I would be banned for life on this site.

Pass the damn thing, don’t play with people’s lives. Worried about funding? Drop a few F-35’s for starters if that makes you feel better.

at least the rich won’t stop taking money for the poor in order for the 9/11 first responders to get aid. The Republicans attack American congress people, then deny funds for 9/11 heroes, who is making this great?-

As regards Obamacare and Kentucky, it is one state that developed a pretty good program for its population. There are a variety of causes and reasons why Kentucky receives so much federal support: low incomes, high unemployment, poor health (black lung, silicosis, drug abuse, and smoking contribute to this), deficient education are a few examples. Let us remember that the opiate issue is one that seems to be instigated by, stimulated by, and supplied by, several pharmaceutical companies who made billions in profits. Then, those hooked on these “legal” drugs had to turn to illegal ones when the regulating outfits cut off the easy availability. The problems in Kentucky, and similarly situated states cannot justifiably be laid at the doorsteps of the population alone.

Paul didn’t seem to care too much about the trillions of unbalanced deficits from the tax cut bill. And Mr. “Canada’s medical system is slavery for the doctors” went up there for his last operation. The GOP is so hypocritical they’re hypercritical.

Paul makes me want to vomit with his sanctimonious crap.

The Congress is FINALLY getting it right on the 9-11 bill. These poor guys have had to come back to DC every 5 years to grovel and beg for what is just and correct.

Our government told them it was safe to work the pile. Told workers, students and local residents it was safe to return. Told them all that no special protective gear was needed.

You bet your ass the expenses are going to skyrocket. Every year, more and more people are going to begin showing symptoms, be diagnosed with cancers and other fatal afflictions. And this nation WILL pay. We must pay.
