It’s politics. And it’s delegation. Our President has made it very clear that even after delegating authority to other entities, the buck still stops with him. Couldn’t say the same for any Republican administration. Maybe that’s just because the Republican party is full of sniveling nincompoops.
Any committee with more than four people, knowledgable in their specific and complimentary fields, and facts, will fail. Which basically means you can’t get anything out of a committee of “Congresspersons”.
