If Snowden had revealed what “W” and friends were doing when they were in office, the “righties” would be calling for his head on a platter. Going back to the early days of J.Edgar Hoover, spying on folks was maximized to whatever technology would allow. It’s interesting that courts shot down more “methods”, like thermal imaging, wiretaps, and other methods as unconstitutional under Republicans, but also yes, some Dems as well.

The REAL problem, like Hoover, has LONG been not in the White House directly, but rathe the political appointments different Presidents have bough off on, an then not had any supervision on what the nutters have done once in. ADD IN, that especially since Carter (yes) was forced by the numbers in Congress to sign the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 (he couldn’t sustain a veto) and Reagan immediately started converting political appointees in large numbers to permanent Civil Service positions. Clinton didn’t convert nearly the numbers that Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43 did. So far, Obama also hadn’t used the Act nearly as often.

The point of course is these political appointees once converted, can’t be gotten rid of when a new administration comes in, as USED to happen. (and these are clowns placed at the very TOP levels of the Senior Executive Service!!

Name one liberal alphabet media outlet that would properly report the data he had to turn over to them? He’s no hero, but he would be dead by now? Accidents happen?
