Time for some oversight — instead of overlooking.
it has been the long-established practice for Congress to hand responsibilities over to “studies” and “task forces” and committees and agencies, so they don’t have to make public choices and decisions on their own. It’s the D.C. disease of spinal collapse.
That’s the problem…they are not even supposed to be leaders. They are our representatives. Leaders are part of dictatorships. At least, according to our Constitution.
This is too easy. Congress can just stop funding any government groups that don’t respect their authority.
