So Barry 0 has been telling us for years the reason he couldn’t get anything done was that the Republicans were blocking bills for him to sign…..How ironic.

I would prefer the gridlock continues.

Congress passes laws and spends money.

I’m pretty sure we have more than enough laws. And we have already spent ourselves into a hole that is impossible to get out of.

So yeah: Gridlock will be fine.

@ChevJames007: There are a lot of vote buying programs out there. That field got very crowded in the aftermath of the Citizens United Decision. Why defund one program? Why not defund all of them?

Why doesn’t the Congress just do something useful for the people they govern?

@ZipiSurely you couldn’t possibly be so ignorant as to not know that the Senate passed many bills that the House didn’t? It cuts both ways. Not that Harry Reid is any prize—I have a pretty low opinion of him. Much lower of Boehner, true, but then again objective reality forms my opinion of them both.

The ones who demand to be given fish are assaulting those who want to teach people how to fish, but yeah, it’s conservatives…

Funny thing is that the conservative stonewalling is preventing more damage being done to the black community by progressive policies.
