Simple test to see if your partisanship is clouding your patriotism. An optometrist points to a poster that reads "The Economy Is Improving." Optometrist: Just read the chart... Republican: !#@$!!
What trickles down is yellow and brown..And we have to pay an inflated price for what trickles down. .And it’s making us sick with no access to healthcare.
Interesting. Durning the last GOP debate. John Ellis raid the “economy was still underwater” and there were so many other lies being bandied about that factcheck.org didn’t even call him on it. We have not been in a recession for years, but it’s an article of faith to the Right that Obama is destroying the economy that mere facts have no place in the discourse.
And at this point in his presidency, Obama has added twice as many jobs as W did in his (and this is before the great recession that lax regulation caused). It’s not a question of the economy, it’s a question of the great redistribution of wealth upwards, and every Republican so far has promised to vastly increase the size of THAT pipeline to levels that George W. never even dreamed of.
The Republican party is the party of traitors to the American people. To declare its purpose was to destroy President Obama’s administration instead of working with him to repair the damage done by W and them which led us to the brink of a Depression was an act of treason. Despite that, he has done a remarkable job of recovery for the economy and trying to repair the social fabric which the Republicans have torn and frayed. Until the Republicans move back more towards the center and away from the lunatic fringe, I’m afraid we have a one party system in this country. I’m not comfortable with that, but there it is.

“Is it trickling down?”-Yes, but it just isn’t wealth, that’s still reserved by the rich for the already rich.

If the politicians were as much in control of the economy as they think they are, Wall St wouldn’t be looking for quants.Unemployment:
