The right wing thugs are planning to attack the USA on Jan 16, they will converge on every state capitol and DC and attempt to overthrow the legitimate government of the USA for their own evil and lawless egos.
Note that the amendment starts with “Congress shall not” – NOT that “Citizens shall not”… Web sites and media not owned by Congress are not bound by the same rules as Congress. We like to believe in freedom of speech, but at the same time we like to believe in ethics and in not using “free speech” as an excuse to break other laws.
Except that Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. aren’t Congress. They’re businesses. And they’re free to block whomever they please, if the Terms and Services… which EVERY SINGLE USER agreed to, I might add… are violated. After all, Trump… as well as anyone else… can still say what they want. They’ll just have to do it out in the open and in public.
Which can have consequences of their own. Don’t believe me? Go to D.C. and announce an intention to harm or kill any member of the government, and watch how fast you get arrested.
The type of speech that isn’t free is any speech that is a threat to the common good. If the cowards ever read their High School civics books they would know that.
Will Benedict Arnold Trump declare martial law when the right wing extremists he encouraged attack the USA this weekend? Is that the plan to keep the dictator in power?
As dangerously the Second Amendment can be distorted, I have no doubt that our First Amendment of Free Speech is the most abused, and our new electronic social medias have greatly amplified it!
How about Hawley crying about his First Amendment rights because his publishing contract got cancelled? I’m pretty sure a Stanford and Harvard Law School graduate knows that the First Amendment doesn’t apply to private businesses. So he’s a f#*king liar as well being a reactionary scumbag.
Three who have taken Oath of Office in Congress have been accused of showing the layout of the Congressional buildings to the seditionists and even involved in the planning.
More and more it is coming out that many of those involved in the attempted coup are not people in economic hardship, but instead spoiled brats who were raised in well-to-do families.
It should therefore be no surprise that those seditionists favor the advent of a well-to-do spoiled brat führer instead of the rule of law, because with the Constitution being followed even spoiled brats are expected to follow codes of conduct that protect Americans. Once again they probably figured that they would be permitted to get away with anything, including attempting to destroy the nation and the murder and the extreme injuries and bias which they imposed upon police and threatened for multiple lawmakers.
tRump violated the rules of those sites after agreeing, as we all must, to accept and adhere to their rules. Just as we all had to agree to here on GoComics. tRump was banned. Like a restaurant, ‘no shirt, no shoes, no service’, those businesses have the RIGHT to protect their business.

You should bear the responsibility if folks act, based on your instructions, veiled or not.

You can shout fire in a theater, but there damn well better be a fire, if you do. Likewise with election fraud.

You can and should shout “fire” in a crowded theater if there is one. Not doing so is wrong.

Tragicly, the Orange Horror Clown never could conceive what an oath to defend the Constitution meant.

Some folks REALLY NEED TO LEARN that Congress DOES NOT OWN Twitter, Facebook, Google, or ANY App store.
