gee who da thought making people who can afford to pay taxes, pay there fair share was such a bad idea? the republiCONs thats who. Instead of giving millions to these jerks millionaires could use that money to pay there fair share of taxes.

That understates the differences enormously. If the bottom 20% were all in one life raft and each of the top 20% had their own “boat” like the one in the drawing, you’d be getting closer.

And it gets more top-heavy each year.

We’re far, far more top-heavy than that, by a factor of 5, and that’s just the top 1%….

The top 1% has more wealth an income than the bottom 50% combined. This is unsustainable.

That boat should be a galley, and the bottom 20% should be the ones manning the oars!

It’s just a giant pyramid scheme.

It’s actually way worse…

I don’t think the middle, next and bottom would have windows or access to fresh air on that cruise ship.

Is it any wonder that the Ship of State is so unstable at the moment?

Oh we sailed the roiling ocean and we took ’er at full speed

Who could’ve known an iceberg would so rudely intercede…
