Republicans have been calling for a recession for two years now. Every Republican/conservative administration since 1929 has had a depression or recession, some had two. Republican/conservatives prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that they cannot govern, and cannot manage an economy.

Facts are like kryptonite to those people. If you want to keep them from finding something, hide it in a book. Or under the soap.

What is really sad is how many people actually believe the lies. They can see how great our economy is doing if they looked, but find it easier just to believe the lies bouncing around the social media echo chambers. “Eggs cost more so the sky is falling!”

Today, February 1st, is the day that McCarthy is supposed to meet with the democratic president to “negotiate” over the debt ceiling.

The president has already said that there will BE NO NEGOTATION, since it is the responsibility of the congress to pay America’s bills already accrued by that SAME congress. This “logic” seems to confuse congress – which makes me wonder – how these idiots EVER LIVED LONG ENOUGH TO EVEN run FOR THEIR SEATS in the House?

So far, their “NEGOTATION” seems to be to demand spending cuts without specifying WHERE the cuts are to be made.

The democratic president has even stooped to their level of “childishness” by declaring, “I’ll show you mine (budget) if you’ll show me yours (budget)!”

Of course, they have a problem – they actually HAVE SAID where they want the cuts to be made, in the past – they want to cut “entitlements” – things like Medicaid, Medicare, S.N.A P., Social Security and OTHER forms of what THEY consider welfare. However, these cuts are deeply unpopular with the vast majority of Americans – so they are stuck on the “horns” of a dilemma – how to say what they “want” – without actually saying what they “want”.

And to make matters even worse, every republican in the House wants a different “cut” to take place and nobody wants to compromise with anybody else – even amongst themselves!

Just announced: Lowest unemployment figures in 53 years! Spread the word before Trump and his sidekick (no, not Gabby Hayes) McCarthy claim credit.
