Lotsa people — like Ramirez here – are fussing about gas prices. They don’t know NUTHIN’! Well, it’s nowhere near as bad a situation now as it was in the 70’s. Gas cost more — even more than it does now. If you could find a station which had a supply, you often had to queue up, or could only buy it on alternate days, or risked getting shot at a self-serve shootout.

Again with the gas prices… The oil companies are recording record profits so I would guess that any problem would depend on where you stand. Reduce oil use? Think of the poor billionaires!!!! Have Biden pass laws against gouging? IMPEACH THE COMMIE BASTARD!!!… oh, he didn’t do anything yet?? WHY HASN’T BIDEN DONE SOMETHING???? The republicans block everything he does? That’s just their job…

Ya know what would be interesting? If you identified a problem and suggested a valid and workable solution. Forgive me if I don’t hold my breath…

The GOP has been totally owned by the oil companies since the 90’s. They still want to try to do just as Tobacco did in the 60’s. Lie, lie lie about cancer (Read “The Emporer of All Maladies”). I used to vote for Republicans until Reagan was nominated. Reagan wanted to cut taxes (who does that benefit most? Certainly never has really benefited the middle class much as the weathly and hurt the poor because they get less as a result not more). Reagan had cut taxes severely in CA while he was governor, but had increased the debt in major ways aggravating several CA problems. Then Reagan chose to kill all funding for conversion to the metric system (way back). American manufacturing dwindled by comparison for years because only 2 countries in the world wanted to use inch-based part sizes. It still costs us more than elsewhere.IF Reagan had said , instead, I don’t want the metric system, BUT had said to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), "Here is $500,000,000 to develop a metric standard for fasteners and tolerances, We would have owned the market before the DIN (German) standards arrived.I had to set up manufacturing standards for dual dimensions in a factor in 1983. Use of that approach cost us a lot of extra engineering, manufacturing and time.Republicans have been making the same mistakes for that long.

It’s more like we the people are being gouged….by greedy corps and big oil….

America has enough oil and gas to sustain the country for years, so why are we being gouged?

    Stop exporting our natural resources…..duh

The Left thinks high gas prices are a feature, not a bug. And they insist Inflation can’t be stopped.

Can’t feed it don’t drive it! Not my fault that you were so irresponsible that you moved to the outer suburbs! Move to the city and take a bus. Problem solved. You’re welcome.

The taxes generated by inflation are paramount to the Democrats agenda. States like Wisconsin are claiming they have never had so much tax revenue. The coffers are full. Biden’s inflation solution is to raise taxes even higher.

All of that caused by the government, much like today. I remember the gas lines and the even/odd days for filling. And Jimmah just wanted us to turn down the thermostat and wear a sweater while forcing us to drive no faster than 55 MPH.

Rick Scott wants to raise taxes on millions of Americans — and it’s ‘embarrassingly easy’ to prove: CNN fact checker

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), the wealthiest lawmaker in the Senate, recently proposed an 11-point plan to “rescue America.”

He wants to end Social Security as well.

Just another ultra rich republican totally out of touch with the American people.

Regretting buying that pickup to commute in, because you just couldn’t let people see you in a little bitty fuel efficient care. Wah.

Gas prices go down. Buy a gas guzzling SUV. Gas prices go up. Cry like a mashed cat. Rinse and repeat.
