BIG INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT religious conservatives in Iran and India want to dictate to women what they must wear and how they must wear their hair. In Iran, they are required by law to wear the hijab. In India, Hindu conservatives prohibit wearing the hijab by law.
Religious conservatives in both Iran and India believe it is GOVERNMENT, NOT WOMEN who should decide what they can wear and how they can wear their hair.
How about we just let women decide and NOT BIG INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT.
BIG INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT religious conservatives in the United States want to dictate to women that they must be forced by law to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term, while BIG INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT secularists in China for decades wanted to dictate to women that they must be forced to abort a wanted pregnancy if they already had their quota of children.
BIG INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT supporters in China or U.S. religious conservatives agree that it is GOVERNMENT, NOT WOMEN who should make these very personal, private decisions. They only disagree as to which decision should be forced on women.
How about we just let women decide and NOT BIG GOVERNMENT as to whether or not they will carry a pregnancy to term or whether or not they will use contraceptives.
She wasn’t wearing a piece of fabric on her head. Blind cultural compliance to man-made medieval rules in 2022 is, well, insane. How are we still binding ourselves to manufactured belief systems called religion?Religion has imprisoned human ingenuity, social innovation, human progress and racial cohesion.
What’s worse is how women from outside their country that visit in an official capacity (Clinton, Albright, Pelosi, etc.) are FORCED to wear the hajib, even though they do not hold the same religious beliefs.
It’s interesting that the majority of our nation believes in a woman’s right to choose for her own body, but it may be a minority that decides otherwise. It seems that the majority doesn’t all vote. VOTE DEM IN NOVEMBER.
Through out the US, I see women wearing the hijab. I wonder if they do so by force, or as a political or religious statement, or as a fashion piece, or a combination of the above?
Such a fake weak attempt at debasing Iran over their treatment of women via their law influenced by popular religion, all for you to appear to be pro-woman. All the while you have been supporting the creeping infiltration of popular religion into our own laws here in the USA which destroys the rights of women. Keep authoritarians out of office and maintain the separation of church and state founded in the bedrock of our democracy and constitution.
AND BIG GOVERNMENT Should decide how we protect ourselves, right? And BIG GOVERNMENT should decide what we can and can’t say? Oh wait it only applies to your pet issues.

American so-called ‘Christians’ are totally oblivious to how alike they are to the religious conservative that Ramirez criticizes here.
When it is pointed out to them, they will vehemently deny it, sometimes violently.
