I actually wish the horse WAS dead. Be a lot better for the country.
But the Georgia, NY, and Jan 6th stuff is not over. By a long shot. So you trumpies can whine all you want, but the law will prevail if there are patriots around. Like Chris Wray, the trump appointee to the FBI, and Merrick Garland, who is crossing every “t” and dotting every “i.”
Trump purposefully stole what was not his. Don’t p*ss off the archivists. They are bound by law to seek and preserve documents.
Trump did not found ‘Trumpism’, he caught a populist wave and rode it into office, to the horror of the Left. Trump the man continues to draw the fire of leftist haters while ‘Trumpism’ , as evidenced by election results, continues to prosper and grow. Silly Dems. Adept at internecine feuds and self-destruction.
I find it interesting that Lester equates Trump to a horse abused by its handlers, and that the horse deserves pity and compassion, but missed that the media never owned or controlled trump, and as the most public figure in the world, he set himself (like all presidents) up for criticism. The horse has tough hide. Trump whines like a baby at the smallest tongue lashing.
Good “beating a dead horse” theme. I liked it. I’d even agree with you if Trump could only keep himself out of the news. The man does. not. know. how. to. STFU.
I’m reposting this to the main thread because I see there is still a lack of understanding by the lefties here regarding presidential powers on classification.
Article II of the Constitution gives the POTUS the ultimate authority in this regard. Classification resides under the power of the Presidents and they are answerable to no other entity within the government. It’s the Executive Office which defines what is classified or not. Any President has the power of declassification and is not bound by any procedures applicable to lower positions. None. The Constitution does not grant the congress or the Supreme Court ANY authority in this matter.
As an example I refer you to Executive Order 11652. You all would do well to look it up and read it. What one president can do via EO, another president can modify or undo as has been proven and acted upon by Joe Biden.

He’s not a dead horse. As long as he is alive, he is an existential danger to America.
