It is against the law to yell “Fire!” in a crowded movie theater.
It is against the law to incite violence.
Tucker Carlson has clearly crossed the line, with overt and repetitive calls to resist his mythological “replacement theory” of racist attacks on African Americans, Asian Americans and Latino Americans.
The only time there might have been any validity to some version of a threat of “replacement” would have been in the early days of European explorations of the Americas, when Europeans threatened to replace the indigenous people who had been living here and building great civilizations for tens of thousands of years.
But of course Carlson describes the European invaders as “legacy Americans” which, again, is a supremely racist title when applied to those of European descent. At best, it is a title that could only be claimed with a straight face by those of indigenous descent.
There is a direct link between Carlson’s promotion of such hate speech and the mass murderers who espouse such garbage as justifications for their hate crimes. When challenged, Carlson does not moderate or back off, he doubles down.
At the very least, it is way past time for Carlson to be removed from the airwaves, and possibly be considered for prosecution in the incitement of violent hate crimes.
No surprise christian conservatives are trying to project the shooter’s right-wing racist Carlson ideology as somehow progressive. Barking that empty narrative is about as far as they can go, however. When it comes to adding substance, they remain quiet, or double-down on their ignorance by adding yet more empty declarations.
Riddle me this: If the Right were all so very patriotic and wishing the best for our democracy, why are they cozying up with a wannabe dictator like Viktor Orban in in Hungary? Why did CPAC hold its latest hatefest in Budapest?

Now, c’mon folks, you know that all the RWNJs think Nazis were really leftists. I mean, they called themselves “socialists”! Somehow the meaning of “ethno-nationalist” seems to have been missed by them. As far as I can tell, that’s just a laundered and hyphenated word for “racist”.
Okay, so let’s take him at his word. Maybe he is/was a socialist and hated Republicans. But he didn’t mince words about The Great Replacement, and the only people who are talking (constantly) about that are Republicans in Congress (cue Reps. Stefanik and Greene and Johnson and…) and Fox News. Even if he’s a card-carrying Democrat who worked for Sen. Sanders, he’s taking his cues from racists, and the only people who are appealing to racism are……
Does this mean that “Conservatives” (e.g Jack7528 and others) now denounce the so-called “replacement theory” that CNN/Salon “misidentified” as right-wing extremism?
I ran across an interesting phrase yesterday: “stochastic terrorism”, explained thus: “Stochastic terrorism is inciting violence through rhetoric, but not explicitly. Instead, stochastic terrorism foments violence with implicit calls to arms and dog whistles, knowing that someone in the audience will eventually execute the implicit call. So the violence is ‘statistically predictable but individually unpredictable’, and, importantly, the speaker can plausibly deny any connection to the bloodshed.”

I think GoComics has given up addressing all the flags given to the lying, pathetic, POS trolls. Not enough staff to handle the workload.
