I told my wife that she was drawing her eyebrows too high. She looked surprised.

I never understood why someone would want to shave off their eyebrows so it could be painted back on – usually looking daft anyway.

Our electric was supposed to go up and I get the bill and it is more than twice normal, WHAT? Turns out I never got the Jan 1 bill for some reason and due to holidays forgot about it. So I got a bill for 2 months. I went autopay.

She doesn’t look like a character from the moderately confused community.

Probably the latter.

The bill stated I used 8.7% less electricity than the same time last year. The bill was $113 higher than last year.

My mom’s first cousin (we called her a 2nd cousin though that may be incorrect) was born without eyebrows. She had to draw them on each day.

Say! Did anyone notice how the gas/oil companies are struggling these days? No wonder prices are so high! Oh, wait a minute… HOW MUCH in profits did they make?

Looked at the supermarket cold cuts counter and saw the price of regular sliced beef at $15/lb. Asked the guy if he had a brand that was less per pound. He said, ‘yes. if you buy less.’ For a minute, I thought he was kidding, then I said, ‘it doesn’t matter how much I buy. It’s still high at $15/lb,’ inference being it was still too high for any amount. He looked at me as if the idea had never occurred to him. Strange world we live in.

She’s probably looking at the gas bill, and, if there was sound, you’d hear a gasp.

The latest trend in women eyebrows seems to be ‘Caterpillars’. And what’s with the heavy gunk in mens hairdos?

Years ago, the local Gas & electric utility offered a budget plan, where you pay the same amount every month. Twice a year it is adjusted, based on your usage, their projected costs, and the long-range weather forecast. Many times, my bill for the adjustment month has been less than normal. My current payment is the lowest it has been in several years.
